I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Flushing – LaGuardia and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, both during and after my stay. Upon arrival, I encountered several issues with the cleanliness and condition of the room, including concerns that I raised directly with hotel staff. To their credit, a representative acknowledged my concerns and indicated that the matter would be reviewed by management. However, what has been most disappointing is the lack of follow-up and communication afterward. Despite multiple emails and follow-up attempts over the course of nearly a week, I have yet to receive any meaningful update or resolution regarding my refund request. I’ve stayed with and recommended IHG properties in the past because I’ve generally had positive experiences with the brand. Unfortunately, the handling of this situation has significantly changed my perception. Guest issues can happen at any hotel, but timely communication, accountability, and follow-through are what separate a good hospitality experience from a poor one. At this point, I feel compelled to escalate the matter through IHG Guest Relations and other consumer channels simply to receive a response. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both its guest service and post-stay resolution process. Update: As of posting this review, I have sent four follow-up communications without receiving a substantive response or timeline for resolution.

We had a horrible experience with this hotel. We arrived late and the a/c was thumping all night long. We notified them. They said in a text they would provide 50% credit. I followed up for a week and no response after initial agreement. They only would provide $50 credit. We felt like we were in a Travellodge or a $69 hotel. It was awful and the customer service follow up was terrible. They lied. I would not recommend.

Hats off to Simon at the front desk. I’m an airline crewmember whose schedule constantly changes. He honored my platinum elite status and allowed me to check in near midnight and a late checkout as well. Professional and friendly hotel. I stay here 2x/month. Never had any issues

The hotel and the service from the staffs in person was great, however, I said in person because I called multiple departments ahead of our check-in time to different departments and no one answered at all but it isn’t a big deal. What sucked the most was waiting like 15 mins for the elevator. There was literally only 2 elevators for this large building and one of the 2 elevators was DOWN…. Even the staffs were waiting for the same elevator with their large carts which made it even longer of a wait than I thought, I mean it’s not a problem with the staffs using it but I wish they just prioritized fixing the second elevator.

Had a red-eye from the West Coast and landed at JFK at 7 AM. My next flight out was scheduled for 10 PM the same day, so I booked a room here. Unfortunately, upon arriving at 8 AM, they had no available rooms, which I suspected, but I asked anyway. I stored luggage with them. They said they would text me when a room became available—they never did. I had breakfast at Little Uluh on the 3rd floor — basic breakfast food before 10:30 AM and overpriced for what you get. $25 for smashed avocado toast that comes with a side salad? C’mon now. Nice seating area, however. When I finally came back to the hotel at 1 PM, my room was ready. I had room 1009 — fantastic view of the entire Manhattan skyline!! Bed was very comfortable. Shower had strong water pressure. The only drawback was the shower head leaked. I tried to shut off the shower but to no avail. Water continued to drip despite it being in the off position. I let the front desk know. Easy walking distance to various restaurants, boba shops, coffee, and the New World Mall Food Court.
