- JWJohn WApr 24, 20265.0We had a good stay at Candlewood Suites East Syracuse. First and foremost, staff are friendly and courteous always greeting you with a smile. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the kitchenette is functional. During our stay, the coffee machine in the lobby was always fully supplied. When booking, the below 4 star rating made me hesitate a bit, but it being member of IHG, its convenient location and onsite ev charging convinced me, and we are glad we stayed here. For those of you who are concerned about room condition/cleanness, I have attached a few photos for you to judge.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything needed. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby highways, shopping, and dining options. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

The carpet, curtains, furniture, and lighting give the room an outdated vibe. That said, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. If you don’t compare it with newer, more modern hotels, you should be fine. This chain is designed for extended stays and comes with kitchen amenities, which is convenient. Just set your expectations accordingly and you’ll have a decent stay.
