  What hotel manager sets the room temperature to 77 degrees when it’s 88 outside? It took 40 minutes for the room to cool to a somewhat comfortable 71 degrees.

  Although this is was not the worst place to stay it could have been better. From the pool being closed despite us calling ahead of time to make sure it was opened to the lack to breakfast each morning or the randomly clogging toilet is why I am rating this 3 stars. When you offer services to your customers you should maintain them properly.

  Breakfast and service is terrible here. Refill is slow and the staff was whining to all customers which is weird and annoying. Room is old and not soundproof at all! I do not recommend this place.

  While I appreciate the breakfast service at staybridge hotel and would consider staying there again, I did encounter some issues during my recent visit at Holiday Inn Express. I was fined for smoking in my room , which I accepted as a reasonable consequence.However, I experience inconsistent TV service in my room, which affected my children significantly as they were unable to watch TV for 2 days. Although the hotel provided internet and other services, I would recommend that families bring backup options to ensure uninterrupted entertainment, thereby avoiding any potential distress during what should be an enjoyable vacation

  We checked in around 9pm something on Wednesday 6/3. The lady who checked us in did not greet us (not even as platinum elite), and when we asked if there was any availability for a late-checkout the next day (with platinum elite a potential complimentary checkout up to 2pm is an option if they have the availability), she just brusquely said “11:30” without even checking for availability. The next day we talked to a guy working the desk in the morning, and even at 7 am he was MUCH more polite, friendly, and professional. They had plenty of availability and were able to push out check-out to 2:30pm! We said thank you so much and would hopefully be out quite a bit sooner (we just had a Maid of the Mist boat tour at 9am and headed straight back after, so we just needed the extra time to shower after getting soaked). The guy who drove our shuttle to the airport was also amazing, very friendly and helpful. The room was fine though it was weird the bathroom/shower door doesn’t lock. So all in all: the two men at the desk the morning of 6/4 were great and so was the shuttle driver. We ran into a custodial person who was very friendly too. The woman working the desk the night of 6/3 was awful and needs to learn some customer service skills.
