The trouble with this hotel is there is nothing obviously wrong with it. But it’s just blah…the rooms are generally clean, beds generally comfortable and the space the suite offers is nice. I like the fridge and microwave in the room because I often reheat leftovers for lunch. And of key importance, the room darkening shades actually work! But the furniture in the room is NOT comfortable so don’t think you are lounging on the couch or settling in to read your book on the chair and ottoman; your butt and back will hurt in a few minutes. The check in area of the lobby is haphazard and not inviting. The seating in the lobby kind of shares space with the breakfast area. It’s just not a cozy or inviting feel. They serve breakfast but that’s it. There is no accompanying restaurant. There is an Indian restaurant near by but it is not open late and there is no bar. All in all it’s just blah.

My room was great. I loved the size and layout. I had a dirty washcloth hanging in bathroom as if it was clean. The morning staff was rude. I spoke to the lady at the front desk and she looked at me like I had 3 heads and didn’t say a word. The gentleman who checked me in the night before was really nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is good too.

We ran into Byron and he was absolutely amazing and so helpful. We loved Eddie, so personable and amazing. Jack was great as well. 601 main street holiday Inn in Buffalo was more then I expected! Will definitely recommend and return. Thank you!
