  The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet. Unfortunately, our experience took a concerning turn shortly after staying at this location. Shortly after our stay, our IHG account was hacked. The points in our account were stolen and used to purchase a Best Buy gift card, and we were also locked out of our IHG account. When we contacted IHG’s Fraud and Scam department, we were told that a booking had been made under our account in Brooklyn, New York, and that our points had been redeemed for a Best Buy gift card. We did not make the booking or redeem the points. Because this happened shortly after our stay, it raised serious concerns for us about how our IHG account information may have been compromised. While we cannot say for certain where the breach occurred, the timing was extremely concerning and has left us very disappointed feeling that Fort Hamilton was the location of the account compromise. IHG is supposed to investigate.

  From the immediate moment we arrive to check in we were greeted with courtesy, kindness and overall a great interaction. Small issue with incidental charges that were resolved within minutes and no awkwardness at all ! Jayla and Eureka really are holding it down from the front desk and I wanted to make sure their great customer service skills were acknowledged! Thank you ! We will definitely be back !

  I'm leaving 5 stars for a few reasons. First: I believe Bill helped my family and I with our reservation at the perfect time even calling me back at around 11pm to help! Second: the staff are ALL very very friendly! Third: YAN is an amazing person at reception! She takes the time to chat with my family and myself. She gives us tips and tricks when approaching the city, and has a GREAT sense of humor! Very personable. Personally, it would be nice if Ft. Hamilton actually stayed in better communication with the hotel e.g. power outage won't last as long as planned, etc. But overall, we love it here, and should we return to NYC, we'd definitely stay here again. Look forward to continuing our stay! I highly recommend considering staying here.

  My family and I stayed here April 2 til April 6 and the stay was great. I want to mention the staff Eureka Lewis, Tracy Hoesay, Jada Lewis, Elaine (breakfast crew), and Lloyd Mart. These employees were exceptional. I can’t begin to express their willingness to go over and above to make our stay unforgettable. Please let them know we are so appreciative of their kindness, professionalism, attentive, courteous, efficiency, friendliness and knowledge. If there is anyway you could relay this message that would be greatly appreciated. Eaglin Family
