Check in was easy and the agent was friendly, room was rather spacious for NYC, and was clean. However the drain in the bathroom sink drained slowly, and when trying to leave the hotel, discovered both elevators were out of order. I hiked down the 10 flights of stairs from my room, and there was an older gentleman struggling to go up to his room. Once in the lobby the front desk agent was rather dismissive of the issue. She did waive the destination fee for the extra work, but didn't seem too phased, and it seems like it may have been a reoccurring issue. Additionally when looking at the line items for my bill they tried to charge me for parking. I did not bring a car. She did remove that charge, but was also rather shady business practices in my opinion. I wanted to like this hotel, the room and gym was lovely, and check in was rather smooth, but the elevator issues and attempt to charge extra for a vehicle I did not have left me disappointed. I get Even hotels is a wellness hotel, but no one should be required to go up or down 12 flights of stairs.

I am leaving a 5 star review because Tiffany is a stellar employee who goes above and beyond. I stayed at this hotel for my wedding and experienced issues with my room as well one of the front desk members but Tiffany's efforts really turned things around. The GM did send an amenity which was nice but the behavior by the other team members did not overshadow the taint on an otherwise perfect weekend. Tiffany found a room that made our stay, greeted us with a softness and warmness that will not be forgotten.

I really loved staying in Even IHG Brooklyn. The rooms were clean and perfect. The location was also perfect, metro nearby and the neighbourhood is also really nice. The people working in the hotel were really friendly, especially Miguel and Edwin were always ready to help us out, thank you very much. I would recommend this hotel to everyone ❤️

I stayed at the Nevins location where i have adopted since frequenting NYC. Everything has been phenomenal, but I must give an extra thank you and shout out to Miguel at the front desk. He always goes above and beyond to make me feel right at home. He is phenomenal and he is one of the main reason I call this location home away from home. Thank you Miguel for being awesome. Thank you for being you..

I booked a twin room for a two-night stay, but upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that twin rooms were fully booked. She offered me two separate single-bed rooms instead. While I appreciated her effort to find a solution, this didn't work for me as I was traveling with my 12-year-old son, whom I couldn't leave alone in a room. As a result, we had no choice but to squeeze into one single-bed room. I reported this to the manager the next day, and he offered complimentary breakfast as compensation. Aside from that minor hiccup, there were two major issues during our two-night stay: 1、Extremely poor Wi-Fi: If you need a reliable internet connection for work, please keep this in mind.2、Noisy AC fan: The fan in our room was so loud that I actually recorded a video of it. Even with the TV playing at a normal volume, the noise from the bed was clearly audible. I wonder how long anyone could put up with that! 😂
