  The hotel rooms are roach infested, see video below of the one of many roaches crawling across my bed during my stay. Not only were there roaches, the air was also out. When I stated that there were roaches in the bed, the general manager Artem Volkov attempted to negotiate with me and give me the hotel fee off ($25) , instead of at least 2 nights. This indicated to me that the hotel does not take roaches as seriously as I do, and it is more common than not. After having to demand a refund of two nights, the general manager continued to be unwelcoming. I emailed, Elie Maalouf the CEO of IHG, Sofia L. Vandaele the regional director. Both directed me back to Volkov even though I stated his lack of urgency and hospitality as the reason I was reaching out. In the end I was never refunded for my stay as Volkov continuously indicated that he approved a refund but when I reached out to Priceline, they confirmed that the hotel denied the refund request. Overall this has been drawn out for three months over something that is an easy fix and should be standard at all IHG hotels. No ROACHES IN THE BEDS.

  EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was my first hotel stop during my trip, and overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was a decent size for a solo traveler, the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. Cleanliness is something I pay close attention to when traveling, and the hotel met my expectations in that area. My only disappointment was the customer service. As a Platinum member, I expected a little more recognition and hospitality. I wasn't even offered a complimentary bottle of water, and I found the staff to be less friendly than I would have hoped. That said, the comfortable bed and well-maintained, clean accommodations made for a good stay. While I'm not sure whether I would choose this hotel again when I return to Brooklyn in a few months, I would still recommend it to others who prioritize cleanliness and a comfortable place to sleep. Pros: Clean hotel, comfortable bed, decent-sized room for one person
Cons: Customer service could be warmer, limited recognition of loyalty status

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars – An Exceptional Stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn! Our stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was absolutely wonderful! From the welcoming atmosphere to the outstanding hospitality, the staff truly made our visit to New York memorable. A very special thank you to Monique and Edwin, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and appreciated. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made such a positive impression on us. We especially enjoyed our afternoon happy hours! The bartender was awesome. Her friendly personality, excellent service, and ability to make everyone feel right at home made our afternoons something to look forward to. It’s the people who make a hotel experience truly special, and Monique and Edwin are shining examples of exceptional customer service. Thank you, EVEN Hotel Brooklyn, for helping make our New York getaway so enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brooklyn! Five stars for the hospitality, and an extra round of applause for Monique and Edwin! 👏❤️

  I really hate writing this review. I like this hotel, where I've stayed a couple of times. It's clean, friendly, and well located if you're shipping out the next day from the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal. But they really deserve to be punished for the misleading photo on their website, implying that they have a wonderful roof garden with comfortable seating atop the building. I checked in recently and soon went up to the 14th floor, looking for this rooftop retreat. All I found were signs saying, "No guests allowed above this point" and "Alarm will sound." I visited the front desk, showed the accompanying photo from their website, and was told, "Oh, that's our private suite." So, not for all guests, just the one who books that one suite. VERY misleading, and I'll go so far as to say it's dishonest.

  The only reason I am giving the service two stars is because of the amazing guest services person who greeted us upon arrival. She was so accommodating, friendly and kind. Other than that, the room is I guess REALLY small to be expected and being a family of four (a 18 month old and 4 year old) it was an experience. I think what makes this truly unfortunate is how unclean this place is. When we came to our room the first day you could see that it was not properly cleaned with random hairs everywhere and lots of dust. We’ve gotten it cleaned twice since we came here and it’s pretty clear all they do is make the bed. No vacuuming or cleaning anything. With two young kids who often spend time lower to the ground, on the floor, or just touching everything I have been constantly grossed out. I feel like I’m pretty easy to please but to be paying money for a room dirtier than most hotel rooms makes me a little sad. Definitely not coming back. The only thing they have going for them is the location.
