  If you decide to stay at this hotel, get a prepaid card with $125 on it for the whole. It takes 30 days for this hotel to release the funds to your bank. FYI future reference for people.

  Hotel was clean, other than that my fiancé is a diamond member and the staff was not very accommodating. We sat for 2 hrs to wait for check in after asking for early check in. She didn’t look up his name, and told us to wait until 2pm. That would have been us sitting in a lobby for at least 4 hrs, but then she was on a phone call and we heard her say on the phone to another customer they can check in early so we asked again and showed that his status has the early check in benefit and that’s when she finally gave us a room . Sitting for two hrs in a lobby after a plane fight to be ignored is ridiculous! On top of that two young men were kicked out and argued with the woman employee, they talked about bringing people back and messing up the place. We had to sit in the lobby while they did return with another women who threatened to do damage, and police ended up being called. So honestly there was no customer safety either, the women employee went to the back and hid and a male manager came out all while we still just was left to sit in a lobby. Police didn’t show up until an hr after all this was going on. DO NOT RECOMMEND, 1/10 WE WILL NEVER BE BACK.

  Decided to come to the bronx for the zoo for our honeymoon.. did not realize that there was no parking until the morning of.. called and was told there was a parking garage we could use once there.. if you book online it looks like it's in a relatively good location but by the time my husband and I got down there we quickly realized it was in a horrible location!! No parking anywhere to be seen and we were not about to leave our car on the street! We never even checked in we took the monetary loss and left the area we were so stressed out and worried

  I'm always a big fan of the Holiday Inn Express. The staff is extremely friendly. They are excellent at resolving issues. They are great at letting you know about local places to pick up food. There is a healthy convenience store just a quick 2-4 minute walk down the street where there are salads and vegetarian items as well as normal food and beverages. The breakfast is always great! Super convenient where there is something for everyone. The rooms are spotless and they have been updated across the hotel chain. The beds are extremely comfortable. If you want an extra blanket there are some available. The only negative for me is that the floor smelled like pot smoke and occasionally the bathroom smelked like pot smoke. Normally i don't encounter this at the holiday inn express. It's really rare. That's one of the reasons i like the holiday inn express chain. I like that the hotel rooms and floors are smoke free. That's what makes a hotel appealing to me. I called down to the front desk on one night and they could take care of it. But i am concerned because they charge people $250 extra if the room smells like smoke. How can they charge people when the entire floor smells like pot smoke or the bathroom smells like pot smoke but someone else is responsible for creating the problem? That bothers me.

  Stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bronx - Zoo Area by IHG and babyyyy… I LOVED it 😭✨ Rooms are small but CLEAN clean, complimentary water in the room, and breakfast is actually worth waking up for! But let me tell you about the staff… TOP TIER. From the GM to the front desk, everyone is so warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Not that fake hotel nice either they really make you feel welcomed and taken care of. The kind of service that makes you not even want to leave! If you’re thinking about booking… DO IT. This place is a whole vibe. I wish I could give you guys 10 stars ⭐️
