  Our experience was a bit of an adventure, as we had a refrigerator that was making a buzzing sound every 10-15 minutes (just enough to wake us up the 1st night, and awoke the 1st morning to find the shower not working. Went to the front desk to report the issue, and they responded as well as one could ask. They didn't have a double room to move us into, but did offer us the use of a single room to shower and wash up while they repaired our room. Within 4 hours, the plumber cut out the drywall in the closet, replaced the shower faucet and a supply line; Ronnie from maintenance had the refrigerator repaired and replaced (and spackled) the drywall, and the repair area was cleaned. If we could give Brie (the manager each day we were there) and Ronnie from maintenance each 10 stars, we would do it. Thank you BOTH for fixing the problems so quickly and with such a great attitude. You two are awesome!

  We made our reservation at Candlewood Suites Buffalo Amherst by IHG as soon as the Bills schedule was released so we could secure a room before game-weekend hotel prices increased. We specifically booked and paid for a room with two beds for three guests. When we arrived, however, we were told that the room we had reserved was no longer available and that the hotel had overbooked. Initially, the only room available had one bed, which obviously was not suitable for three people. After a lengthy delay, the staff eventually found us a room with one regular bed and a pull-out bed. The replacement room was also uncomfortably warm, and the heating/air-conditioning unit was extremely loud, making the stay even more disappointing. What is most frustrating is that we reserved and paid for the room well in advance specifically to avoid this situation. The hotel accepted our reservation for a two-bed room but did not provide what we had purchased. Given the high demand and higher room rates surrounding a Bills game, it certainly leaves us wondering whether our reserved room was ultimately sold to another guest at a higher rate. I believe we deserve an explanation as to why our confirmed room was not honored, as well as appropriate compensation or a refund for the difference in accommodations. This was not the experience we paid for or expected from an IHG property. We cancelled our future reservations.

  Beings that IHG as a whole has turned into a pile of sh*t and I am unable to leave this review on the IHG website. Even as a 15 year diamond elite member dedicated to purely IHG. Averaging 280 to 340 nights a year in stays. This hotel like a lot of the IHG hotels lately have become horrible. Wi-Fi was messed up and when I asked the lady at the front desk for the tech support number I was told she didn't know of any such thing. When I tried the ihg tech support number, as usual complete waste of time. IHG has made all their hotels change the name of their WIFI but that doesn't solve the problem when every ihg hotel has a different cut rate internet provider that requires a different tech support number. When I spoke with the lady at the front desk again, she acted like I punched her first-born child in the mouth. Beyond rude. so much so that later that evening I locked myself out of my room. Lord, forbid I had to ask the front desk for a key. I mean was completely putting her out on that one. The room was loud and noisy. No blow dryer in the room. No Wi-Fi. Staff was way out of line rude. And in true NY fashion the rates were exorbitant to say the least. Just avoid this hotel altogether.

  I stayed here after having to rush my dog to the emergency vet from Rochester and I can't say enough good things about the manager, Brianne! She really went above and beyond and provided exceptional service. Having a safe and convenient place to stay with great hospitality made this really stressful time a little bit easier. I'm so grateful for Brianne's kindness and everything she did during my stay!

  Music is blasting from gazebo in the back for hours it’s 3.30 am and it is still going. I have called the front lobby multiple times and nobody is answering!
