Just saw that video about the pit bosses being exposed there for sweating the gamblers and if you don't know look up apvulture's video. It's trending right now. Had a similar experience and gotta say I won't be playing the tables here anymore.

Nice place if you don't want to be in the middle of Reno. The setup is a little odd, if you get an inside room then you have a window view of the indoor pool.

Our wedding day was truly a dream come true, and we are so incredibly grateful to Boomtown Hotel & Casino for being such a beautiful part of our special day. 🤍✨ From the moment we started planning, the team made us feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to stay within a budget, but Boomtown made it possible for us to have the beautiful wedding we dreamed of without breaking the bank. We were able to celebrate surrounded by the people we love most, in a beautiful space, with amazing food and so many unforgettable memories. 🥂💍 The food was absolutely delicious, our guests had such a wonderful time, and the entire team was so kind and accommodating. Every little detail meant so much to us, and we truly felt like they cared about making our day special—not just getting through another event. And a very special shoutout to Nikki! ❤️ You are absolutely amazing! Thank you for your patience, kindness, support, and for always being there to help us whenever we needed you. You went above and beyond for us, and I honestly don’t know what we would have done without you. You helped take so much stress off our shoulders and made the whole experience feel easier and more enjoyable. We will forever be grateful for you! 🥹🤍 After 8 years together, getting to finally say “I do” and celebrate our love with our family and friends was something we will treasure forever. Having Boomtown be the place where we celebrated this beautiful new chapter made the memories even more special. 💕✨ If you’re looking for a beautiful, affordable, and budget-friendly wedding venue, I truly recommend Boomtown Hotel & Casino. You can have the wedding of your dreams while still being mindful of your budget, and most importantly, you’ll have a team that genuinely wants you to have an amazing day. Thank you, Boomtown, for helping make our wedding day one of the most beautiful and unforgettable days of our lives. We will always look back on our wedding day with so much love and gratitude. ❤️🥂💍✨

This place is really cool cant speak for the rooms as we stay free at the row instead but we stop by here when we go to Cabela’s that is walking distance from this place the staff is very nice and helpful have not ran into one that was rude yet they have a arcade for the kids and a movie thing that you watch and interact with by shooting, zombies or something have yet to try it want to real bad though the food where we ate in there was greatly priced and pretty good as well the staff in the food place was very nice as well don’t think I seen anything on the menu over 9.99 I will continue to come here hopefully soon they will start comping rooms like the row does so we can just stay there the whole weekend instead of having to drive there really like this place and we watched a lady win 3,000 a couple machines away from us will be trying their steak house next time as well and will review that with pictures of the food

As a local player, I receive monthly offers from a variety of different casinos in the Reno area. Peppermill, Gold Dust, Boomtown, etc. This month I received my usual offers from Boomtown, $30 in match play on blackjack and $30 weekly on slots/video poker. Today I went to the casino only to find out that my monthly offers had been reduced to 0 without any clear explanation or reason. I asked the people at the player's club and they could not provide me any reasonable answer. Only that i was not eligible for the monthly offers originally offered to me during the month of September. I previously played there weekly, often putting around $300 to $500 into action on video poker or table games. This was a huge mistake on their part. To send a monthly mailer to a regular, local player and then reneg on that offer without explanation or reason is poor business. I will not be returning again. You lost a good guest and player because of this.
