    Crabby and unhelpful front desk staff (Jessica), 'pet friendly' but you have to sign a paper saying your dog won't pee anywhere but their "dog run" (which is an elevated 10'x30' dirt strip behind the parking lot, so good luck getting them there in time). Rooms are basic and not great, the neighborhood is sketchy, and it's WAY overpriced for what you get. Reno sucks for hotels and this place is a great example of why.

    ADA Violation, Retaliatory Ban, and Corporate Cover-Up I stayed here June 19–22, 2026 in Room 120-A, an ADA-designated accessible room. What followed was one of the most frustrating and insulting guest experiences I’ve ever had. The room itself had multiple serious failures: • The ADA roll-in shower lacked a proper detachable showerhead at the correct height — a direct violation of ADA Title III federal law • Unrepaired burn marks on the floor • Multiple non-functional electrical outlets and USB ports • TV that could not stream any services • Broken ice machine the entire stay I paid $402.24 for three nights. The GM, Dylan Lopez, issued a $104.06 refund (26% of what I paid) and refused any further compensation. When I mentioned a potential chargeback — a standard consumer right — he threatened me in writing with legal action. I escalated to BWH Hotels corporate. Rather than conduct an independent investigation, they took the GM’s word that I was “aggressive and inappropriate” — despite the fact that every single interaction I had with this property was in writing and completely professional. They then rubber-stamped a Do Not Rent ban against me. Let that sink in: I reported a federal ADA violation, was threatened with legal action for mentioning a chargeback, and then got banned and labeled aggressive for advocating for myself. I have since filed a formal complaint with BWH Corporate, opened a case with Expedia, initiated an Amex dispute, and will be filing a DOJ ADA complaint. Guests requiring accessible accommodations should be especially cautious — this property does not deliver what it advertises and will retaliate against you if you speak up.

    Generally we liked this hotel. The headboard had hair sticking out around the edges which grossed me out. Other than that, it was good. The sheets were older and it was adequately clean.

    I just wanted to give a huge shout out and the upmost respect for the front desk manager AnnMarie, she handled herself really well when some lady was tearing her a new one, this insane woman was filming her! simply because she did not see the "back in 10 minutes" sign, we all arrived at the same time and none of us had been waiting more than 5 minutes. When AnnMarie came to the desk she immediately said "I am so sorry for the wait I was delivering towels & I am here by myself, I appreciate your patience thank you so much for waiting" and everything AnnMarie said with a smile on her face, politely with OUTSTANDING Customer service made this lady lose her mind lol. The Manager let her know she would be kicked off the property if the filming didn't stop so the lady put her phone away but then she got denied a check in because she didnt ask permission for having a cat in advance, took everything in me to keep it together! karma is truely something isnt it haha 🤣🤣 she did such a great job, I dont know how she handled that so gracefully! AnnMarie is very friendly, she went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met and even waived our deposit for having to wait even longer while crazy cat lady threw a fit. The rooms are cozy, the hotel is beautiful and the pool was fun. The outdoor furniture was chic and relaxing, didnt get to check out the restaurant but maybe next time. Will be back and highly recommend.

    This is actually a pretty nice place. The rooms open to the outside, so it's like a motel. The outside doesn't look very nice or classy but the rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable. There is an outdoor pool and I don't know if this is typical but the night we were there, there were very many kids playing and screaming non-stop until past nine pm, that we could hear easily from our room. The place is nominally dog friendly but there's nowhere nearby to take the dogs for a proper walk, just a small sandy "dog run" on the property. The hotel is in a busy part of town that doesn't lend itself to walking dogs at all. Our stay was good, and would recommend it, especially if you don't have dogs that like to go on long walks, or if you have kids that like to play noisily in a pool all evening. It's great for that.
