  Overall, the room facilities were quite nice and felt pretty new, with a nicely sized TV. However, soundproofing was definitely an issue. I could easily hear the TV and voices coming from the room next door. Doing laundry cost $3.50 for washing alone, which felt a bit pricey. The restaurant was under renovation during my stay, though since it's a Holiday Inn Resort, free breakfast isn't standard anyway, so that didn't bother me too much.

  My granddaughter and I were on our way home from our mini vacation earlier this month and decided to stop for the night and chose this hotel based on the reviews. When entering, I honestly wasn't sure because everything really seemed dated probably because I didn't know what to expect. The girl at the front desk was SO nice and made a wonderful first impression. I wish I could remember her name because she needs recognized! She was very up-front in preparing me for the current remodel the hotel was undergoing. She was very inquisitive on why we were there to really meet our needs. She tucked us away in a quiet room that was so clean and just perfect. It was away from the highway and we heard no traffic noise which was such a relief after a long stressful drive. The need was super comfortable, the location was great and I had zero complaints. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is picky like me. It was one of the nicest hotels on our trip and was my far the least expensive!! Would definitely stay here again.

  My wife and I recently checked in for a weeks stay in beautiful Mesquite, Nevada! From the start, the service at check in was great and the room was clean, functional and comfortable and provided an incredible view from the window overlooking the mountains and the shops! Our weeks stay was fantastic. The outdoor pool and hot tub were awesome! Close to stores, coffee shops and wonderful diners.Plus, a waterpark and other fun amenities are in the works. Justine at the front desk was always helpful and provided great tips on the area. Becky, the hotel manager, runs a great resort. Everyone was always pleasant, helpful and professional. I had a chance to visit with Tom and Nicole in sales and events and they have some cool things going on as well! We highly recommend! Thank you, Becky and team!

  Loved our time here last weekend- the cafe isn’t open but the breakfast boxes available for $10 more than made up for it. Healthy, quality stuff for breakfast there which is exactly what you need if you’re going to start hitting the strip in Vegas and picking up a drink or two for lunch. We will definitely stay here again- even if you are heading to Vegas for the day, it’s well worth staying here and driving the extra hour to and from in the morning and evening.

  They said it was no smoking, but someone definitely smoked in there at some point - a long time ago, but could still smell it/feel it in my eyes. The mechanical door lock was broken off. AC said it was on but buttons wouldn't work and didn't kick on all night so I sweat - when I checked out the person said there was a wall remote, but I had looked around and didn't see it. And why was the default temp so high? Also lots of small problems: floor had a crack in it, bathroom door had kick/punch/bottom grind marks, shower glass rolling doors wouldn't stay shut so water got all over the floor, shower ceiling has high contrast putty like the rest of the room and was already peeling though clearly done recently - and had the beginnins of black mold, the dry wall tape was visible in multiple places, and I was told there was no breakfast because they were a "resort" and not an "express", but I could buy a box of breakfast food for $15. When I checked out, the personat the desk said they were very sorry, and if I were a member of their rewards whatever they would give me some points back. No thanks. I'll just stay at a Super 8 next time, the quality is significantly higher.
