Me and my wife stayed at this location from July 2-6. The location is just about right if you don’t want to be not too close nor too far from the strip and a very fair distance from the airport. Beds aren’t bad but can be a bit more comfortable. Some but not all staff members are kind and welcoming others are just there to be there and get through their shift. Housekeeping does lack quite a bit. We waited from roughly 2pm to almost 11 for housekeeping to tidy up the room a bit after calling around 1:30. And we went out to the pool and spent a few hours out of the hotel and coming back nothing was still done. There are employees that will ask you if you received “your free gifts”. Now here’s a breakdown you do put down a deposit of 40$ on your card but get refunded that in cash and you do receive a gift or gifts what can be offered to you. The upside of one the gifts we got were vouchers that were up to 200$ with 50$ on each individual voucher 2 for drinks, and two for beverages and food “but cannot be used in the steak restaurant”. The downside you will spend two hours with timeshare employees trying to convince you to become a timeshare holder. You can decline and still receive your gifts as promised and the 40$ care deposit will be handed back in cash. If you have no interest in participating in this i highly recommend wearing headphones throughout the hotel and avoid hearing them constantly coming up to you or just simply say “no thank you” and keep going about your day. Pool area was nice, food was great but drinks sound good based on their names but the taste is not all extravagant as I imagined but still refreshing. Overall not a bad stay but some things could be worked on.

I was there over 4th of July weekend I didn't get a room there, but I did get a tour through the timeshare I attended it was the most horrible experience I did not even get to enjoy my vacation I was so stressed out I was so misled I don't know if Westgate hotel is in charge of the timeshare and the people but it was the most humiliating experience I have ever had to endure, every review I read about it is true they use every tactic they have to get you to buy a timeshare one hour turned into 5 hours , they asked people to offer you free rooms and gift cards the rooms are not even legit you have to pay extra for them the casino money they give you is in the worst part of town it's not even one of their casinos. Please do not get trapped the way I did those $50 that they reimbursed you for that cheap buffet of breakfast they give you is not worth all the time you spend yes the casino is beautiful but they take you into a space tunnel it looks like something from a movie very dark very scary something you can't even really look at what you're reading I don't know if they intentionally do that . I am so stressed out from that experience I am even going to seek medical attention , and also file a claim I just can't believe everything I had to endure 😔 and then I called today to try to get some answers at least and I'm sorry and they do not even answer a phone call it is sickening.

Our stay at Westgate Las Vegas was mixed. The biggest issue was the parking. The self-parking system did not work with our Austrian phone number, even though international numbers can be selected in the app/website. This caused a lot of stress because we could not get out of the garage. The communication at the help desk was also confusing. We were told that the hotel would contact the parking company, and we were also told there was a help button at the exit gate. But there was no working help button. In the end, a security staff member helped us and called the parking company for us. We really appreciated his help. To be fair, the help desk later solved the issue and made valet parking free for us. That was helpful, but the whole parking situation should have been explained much better from the beginning, especially for international guests. The room itself was okay, but sleeping was not very comfortable. It was quite loud at night, probably because of the large air-conditioning or technical units outside the window. Better soundproof windows would be needed there. Also, the air conditioning in the room was blowing directly onto the bed, which was unpleasant during the night. Overall, the staff helped in the end, especially security, but the parking issue, confusing communication, and room comfort made the stay less relaxing than expected

Jose Romero aka Mr Westgate is the most enthusiastic, ‘get into the role’ person EVER!! When I arrived, he gave me the BEST GREETING, was in his red, white, and blue attire, which did not disappoint!! When I came across him the next day, he had on a DIFFERENT red white and blue outfit, and it was even more extravagant than the prior one!! He has the best personality, and I really enjoyed meeting him!! Jay, Anita, Mollie, Sebastian, and Sherryl were the BEST!! Jay asked me if i wanted a higher or lower floor, i said just one with a great view!! and OMGOSH, he was right about the Sphere view!! AND the room is BOSS!!! actually he was the most pleasant host i’ve come across in a while!! go Jaaayy!! when i first walked through the ropes for check in, Sebastian gave me the most wonderful smile with direction on how to maneuver the line. Sherryl gave me the brightest smile and warmest welcome as I was just even walking towards her!! Anita is the cutest little thing, and she thought I was fabulous!! we talked about our beauty moles. Mollie came up to me for a presentation for gifts Jay also informed me when i asked about early check in that Westgate stops that at 1pm. Good for Westgate!! a lot of hotels aren’t up to par, and even have check in at 4p!! WHAAAAAT!! this trip is already looking up!! Shuren

My husband and I stayed at the Westgate Hotel on Saturday, June 20th for one night. We were extremely disappointed with the room. We stayed in 2622 in the Central Tower. When we arrived the room was very warm, but the A/C was on 70. That should have been more than adequate. We gradually lowered the thermostat to see if we could get the room cooler. It was set on 64 when we left for our dinner & show and by the time we got back to the room before midnight, it was somewhat comfortable, but still not acceptable. At 64 it should have been cold. The A/C unit was so loud you can barely hear each other talk. Forget about hearing the TV without having it on overly loud. It was an annoying sound to sleep to and we did not get a good night’s sleep. We decided it was too late to make a complaint that would be addressed. After we got up in the morning, it started to get warmer again, no matter what the temp was set for. We decided to take showers and go downstairs to eat before we checked out. The shower mechanism was almost impossible to budge. I had to have my husband pound on the knob to get it to move. It was nearly impossible to turn off as well. The shower head is a piece of junk and was too low for my husband who is only 5’9”. There is a lot of deferred maintenance in the bathroom including discoloration of the grout and cracked tiles. The exhaust fan does not work and the wall tiles were perspiring like a sauna. The toilet is too low and rocks. This was a very spacious room that was poorly appointed. I always look forward to room service in the morning when we stay in a hotel. However there was only 1 chair in the room. The bed is too high to sit on, so we decided against it. Where would we sit? We are accustomed to a room having a chair, couch or bench to sit on that is stationary, so when you put your socks and shoes you have a steady place to do so. However with the uncomfortable temperature we would have been happy eating in the room. We were anxious to leave when we checked out and did not wait in the line to voice our complaints. I attempted to contact the Hotel later to discuss the issues so they did not assign that room to another unsuspecting customer. The only option given was to send an email. That was Sunday afternoon. 2 days later, we have not gotten a response. That just tells me they really don't care. Not to mention, I find it hard to believe that housekeeping and or the previous occupant did not complain about these same shortcomings. This overnight stay was to celebrate our 40 year wedding anniversary. We ate in the Edge Steak House and had went to see the Pablo Cruise/Pure Prairie League Show. We are locals that attend the shows at this property with some frequency. The show was exceptional and I highly recommend their showroom. They made us feel very special at the Edge Restaurant. The food and service were what you would expect in a fine dining restaurant. We had a delicious breakfast in Sid's in the morning. There was a $50 resort fee and we found out after the fact that it did not include the parking. The parking was the only amenity we used. I would not recommend this Hotel.
