First of all, when we arrived, we found out that my boyfriend and I would not be able to sleep in the same bed. It was a complete disappointment. I asked whether this was LGBTQ discrimination, but I believed in the sincerity of the lady at the reception and learned that it was due to operational reasons. Afterwards, we paid an extra 35 dollars per night and moved to another room upstairs, one that had a view of the Sphere. The hotel was freezing cold. We stayed for almost a week because of my boyfriend’s Magic: The Gathering tournament, and I hated Las Vegas. Everything is built around gambling. The rooms are furnished with pitch-black furniture. Old. Tasteless. Depressing. I have traveled to six continents in the world and stayed in so many hotels; even hotels in the most remote corners of Africa were more pleasant and uplifting than this. I would never even pass by its door again. Inside, the disgusting smell of the taco place by the north entrance, the fact that the Italian and Japanese restaurants inside had nothing to do with Italy or Japan, and the horrible Americanized food and flavors were a complete disgrace. It was not European at all. I am grateful for every single day since I returned.

Like another person pointed out, they're selling timeshares which are 100% a scam. They are trying to claim that Casino's are timeshares and that if you paid them thousands of dollars to "own" a room, you'll get money! The thing is that's a lie and you'll get nothing unless you invite others to join. It's basically just another pyramid scheme to get money out of people. The staff for the "tour" were rude as hell, insisted that my elderly mother should give them THOUSANDS for the timeshare because they said this way if she dies then she can pass the room down to her kids and grandkids. They refused to take no for an answer, I told them no and insisted that we need to leave but the woman got extremely persistent and rude refusing to stop her fake spiel and when she realized we weren't falling for her scam she got pissed off and walked off because she wasn't going to scam my mother into giving her a huge commission. Then the balding man who led us to the desk refused to talk to us and had his airpods in the entire time so that he didn't have to listen to anything we said - both of these people were 50+ years old acting like they're 10 years old because they aren't scamming an elderly person. The resort looks nice but it's a huge scam. They claimed that you would own the room but if you wanted to stay there you still needed to pay $300+ a night and that it's usually $2000+ per night for their rooms while bragging about how THEY would make an easy $10k from anything you would "own" because they'd rent it out and they pretend like you'd get all that money but it actually goes to the hotel and you only receive a small amount of the money.

Review for Westgate Las Vegas The Westgate is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Las Vegas. It has so much to offer — plenty of food options from fast food to lovely sit-down restaurants, including a great Italian and a steakhouse (the Italian is my favourite). There’s a huge sports viewing area, a really nice casino, and excellent evening entertainment with live bands and more. It’s a proper all-rounder and I absolutely love it. However, I have to give a special mention to Mindy Berbert. In September 2025 I had a substantial win and Mindy took me into a side room to securely handle everything and arrange my winnings. I tried to tip her but she refused, saying it was just her job. That level of professionalism and kindness is very rare and something I’ll never forget. She also gave me her business card and told me to reach out if I needed anything. I’ve contacted her twice since and both times she replied very quickly and was extremely helpful, even inviting me to message again if I needed more assistance. This is a genuine and honest review. If you’re thinking of staying in Las Vegas, don’t miss the Westgate. And if you have any issues or need help, just ask for Mindy — she’ll sort it out for you. Thank you Westgate, and a massive thank you to Mindy. Looking forward to seeing you again in September! Darren Jackson

There are a thousand ways to spend a morning in Las Vegas. Very few of them feel complete. This one did. Tucked inside the energy of Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, Sid’s Cafe delivers the kind of breakfast that quietly resets your expectations of what a “casino café” can be—and then exceeds them. Breakfast at Sid’s: where details matter This isn’t throwaway morning fuel. It’s a kitchen that respects the plate. Eggs arrive exactly as ordered—not a second over. Hash browns aren’t an afterthought; they’re crisped to that perfect edge where texture meets flavor. Portions are generous without being careless. Even the coffee holds its own—rich, hot, and never neglected. Then there’s the endless mimosa. Too often that phrase signals diluted juice and slow refills. Not here. These are bright, balanced, and—more importantly—maintained. The rhythm of service keeps the glass where it should be: enjoyed, not chased. It feels intentional, like part of the experience rather than a promotion. Debra and the supporting cast: the difference-maker And then you meet Debra. Every city has great food. Far fewer have people who elevate it into something memorable. Debra reads a room the way seasoned performers read an audience—effortlessly. She anticipates without hovering, connects without forcing it, and keeps the entire section moving like a well-rehearsed ensemble. What’s just as impressive is the team around her. The supporting cast—hosts, bussers, runners—operate with a shared awareness that you don’t see often anymore. Tables are cleared at the right moment, drinks appear without disruption, and everything feels coordinated without ever looking staged. It’s service that respects your time and enhances your experience without asking for credit. To leadership: this is not standard service. This is culture. And it’s working. Rooms and guest services: the stay completes the story Step away from the dining room and the experience holds. The rooms at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino strike a balance that’s harder to achieve than it looks: comfortable without being tired, updated without losing character. Clean, spacious, and quiet enough to actually recharge—especially on the higher floors where the noise of the casino fades into the background. Guest services deserve their own mention. From check-in to any request along the way, there’s a consistency that suggests systems are in place—but more importantly, that people are paying attention. Questions get answered. Needs get handled. There’s a sense that you’re not just processed—you’re hosted. The kind of place people quietly recommend You won’t find this experience shouting for attention on every billboard. And that’s exactly why it stands out. There’s a reason someone like Carol in Pluribis was right to stay here—this property doesn’t rely on flash to impress. It delivers where it counts: food, service, comfort, and consistency. The things that actually make a stay memorable long after you leave. Final score (0–10): 10 Not because it’s perfect in some abstract sense—but because it delivers, across the board, at a level that most places aim for and miss. To future guests: don’t overthink it. To management: protect what you’ve built here. And to Debra and her team: you turned a simple breakfast into the highlight of the stay. If you are coming to Las Vegas stay here and eat Sid’s! Maybe you will have the fortunate experience of being seated in Debra’s section!
