We were excited to see Barry Manilow tonight, 8/20/26, but unfortunately, the show was canceled midway due to technical issues. Despite that, I want to give a shout-out to our incredible usher, Jonelle. She went above and beyond—leading us to our seats, then even securing us better ones, all with a warm smile. When it was time to explain how to receive refunds for the canceled show, Jonelle was again the epitome of professionalism. At one point, she was surrounded by a crowd of people asking the same questions, and I watched in admiration as she managed the situation with grace and expertise. Truly outstanding service from Jonelle—she made an unexpected evening still memorable. We’ll be back to see Barry soon.

A night at the Westgate Resort , dinner at Fresco Italiano followed by the Frankie Moreno show . As a local Las Vegas since 1974 I feel like I've been transported back to when Las Vegas was the old Vegas. And I mean that in a good way. Our server Elise gave my wife and I me five star treatment. As an Italian and previous owner of multiple Italian restaurants, I will say the meatballs appetizer is worth the trip alone. The veal scallopini was perfect but then the executive chef Sean Gabilondo came to our table and put things over the top with a personal his touch. Another five-star rating for Chef Shawn! After dinner we went to Elvis' House, The International Showroom to see Frankie, that was the third five-star rating of the evening. We give the Westgate's Fresco Italiano server Elise and executive chef Sean each five stars each and then Five Stars to Frankie. Turns out locals need to revisit the Westgate and experience a 15 Star rated night!

I recently visited the Westgate Cabernet Showroom and had a very positive experience. The showroom is well organized, inviting, and designed in a way that makes it easy to explore the different products and displays. The layout feels modern and professional, creating a comfortable environment for customers. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions without being overly pushy. They took the time to explain features and options clearly, which made the experience much more enjoyable and informative. One of the standout aspects of the showroom is its attention to presentation. The displays are clean, attractive, and thoughtfully arranged, allowing visitors to visualize how the products might fit into their own space or lifestyle. Overall, the Westgate Cabernet Showroom offers excellent customer service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a high-quality showroom experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a professional and enjoyable shopping experience.

This review is primarily for the poker traveler. Overall, it’s a nice property that follows the standard Vegas layout of premium pricing for a memorable vacation adventure. Now let’s get to the poker room. The Westgate poker operations are excelling for two reasons. One, two nearby rooms closed down recently, which shifted a lot of that North Strip field traffic directly over here. Two, management understands how to drive traffic with early bird seating bonuses, a three-dollar-per-hour room comp rate that's one of the best deals in the country, and regular promotions. The cash game rake is capped at five dollars, but it carries a secondary two-dollar jackpot drop. A wise player will appreciate the cap but won't love the promo drop, though it's balanced out by the excellent comp rate and friendly, soft competition. In this room, you definitely want to play cash games! This is the opposite of the growing tourney trend across the country. Westgate is very different because while the cash game rake is fair, the entry cost markup on their scheduled daily events is almost double the industry average. As someone who consistently looks for value in small- and mid-stakes events, there's zero upside here. The blind structures accelerate so fast that average stacks drop to ten big blinds in less than ninety minutes. It removes the skill element completely. Skip the daily tournament schedule. For the regular cash games, it's highly recommended. It’s a great vibe with very limited egos and a comfortable atmosphere.
