Ready. Set. Play. The most playful game experience in Las Vegas. Dive, slide, and climb into over-the-top games, brain-busting puzzles, hands-on challenges, and imaginative cocktails.
Came out to Vegas to celebrate my bro’s 30th birthday, and with all the construction turning the Strip into a maze, I was already frustrated by the time I got to Play Playground at the Luxor. But Omari at the entrance completely changed the energy — he helped me check in, explained the layout, and brought a calm presence to a stressful moment without even knowing it. Then Malachi made sure once I got inside, I truly enjoyed myself. The games are fun, but the customer service is even better!

I was so excited to find this place online. I've always envied all the playgrounds that cater to just little kids. So this was a must for me. We opted for the all inclusive three hour pass that included a free drink at the bar.
We had fun, but I think a lot of things could be improved there. I think three hours is too much if it isn't crowded, which it wasn't when we were there. Most of of the time, at least. The place is much smaller than I thought it would be, and not nearly as much to do. We didn't stay for 3 hours. We got bored.
The big guy at the bar was so nice and the drinks were delicious. All of the employees were great. One in particular was all around the playground helping people. I don't recall her name, but I gave her a shoutout to another employee and asked them to let the boss know.
I so wanted to do the Wipe out style thing where you run across a bar and avoid the swinging discs. These discs were hanging in a way that the slightest touch of them sent them swinging not straight, and bumping into the other discs, so it was really a difficult challenge. Not as good as what I've seen on Wipe Out.
Duck Duck Boom was kind of fun, my companion enjoyed it, but I couldn't really manage the jump over the low bar. The floor is like an air pillow.
Be careful in the balloon/beach ball area. The floor is cement. Thankfully we checked before we did anything like leap into the balls. We'd have been hurt. I didn't see anything that warned you. We threw some things at each other and took photos of each other somewhat buried in them, though that was hard to bury yourself in them.
I like the cactus game where you throw balls at targets, but cleaning up 60 or so balls afterwards or also before you play when the last people didn't.....that was hard for an older person to be kneeling or bending to pick them up.
There were two games where the wall had a game to place either letters or shapes, but the shapes and letters were on the floor or a bin that was about floor level. So, a lot of bending. I think those could have been raised.
The Operation game was fun, though there were no instructions, and it isn't played exactly like operation. I liked the ball throwing race game a lot, but both myself and younger companion's arms got sore from the heavy balls pretty quickly.
There was a light smack game, think whack-a-mole only no mallet and it's vertical not horizontal. You smack the lights when they come on. And up to 4 people can play their own at a time for a contest.
I liked the velcro wall, but it was a little hard for me, but my friend did better. We both liked the bouncy maze.
There were a couple of games in this one area where you sit on sort of swing like seats. But these games seemed to be broken. There was also a slide from an upper level, but I struggled to climb into the hole while getting my feet into a pocket in a bag, so I gave up. Maybe a platform in front of the slide at the same level would help!
Another game that was pretty cool was an area where you had things to push, pull, stomp, etc and then a screen told you what to do.
And a long curving pipe that you had to run a magnetic tool around all it without touching it. That was hard.
There was a lite brite style wall, and a tower game of having to match lights with the colored squares under your feet. Those were decent. There was a tube with a cup you maneuver from outside to try to catch objects swirling around. Parts seemed in bad shape on that game. I think that was about all of the games.
One thing I disliked greatly was the lack of lockers to put a purse or wallet and keys, waterbottle, etc. There were tables near most games, but things could have been easily stolen. Especially if you are in the bouncy maze or other games that require your attention or have no view of your belongings.

Such a blast! We expected to stay for an hour tops, but we had so much fun that we ended up staying for two. The transition to adults-only is a great touch and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Unsafe environment and poor security response to a threatening guest.
I was expecting a fun experience where all guests including my group and others could have a good time in a safe environment. Instead another guest was causing problems and trying to instigate a fight with a member of our group. While other guest actions are not in Plays Playgrounds control, their security response is. The response from security was to escort the member of our group out of the building with no refund while the instigator/ aggressor remained in the Play Playground. Very poor communication and handling of the situation from the part of Play Playgrounds management and security. When they did decide to escort the aggressive individual out, they failed to fully escort him out of the building and verify he had left, which left a member of my group at risk of being attacked. Security left the area and the aggressive individual was able to come within feet of the person that he had been threatening and had tried instigate a fight with. Did not feel like a safe environment for anyone.

I stood up for my friend who was being harassed by homophobic tendencies by another patron. I stood up for my friend and was kicked out. I understand the situation but I did not cause a scene and left per the securities request and then found out later that he was allowed to stay. The fact that I was reprimanded and no actions taken against the other individual gives me little confidence that anyone will be treated fairly in this establishment.
