  My family and I stayed a week at Surestay. The pictures online made the rooms look nice and clean. We were disappointed when we arrived after a 15hr drive. The first thing we noticed was pet hair and dirt all over one of the beds, obviously someone was cutting corners with their cleaning. The floor smelled of pee. The bathroom door's lock was broken, we had to push it then lift it just to get it to work. The shower would go from hot to cold, I had to keep adjusting it so it wouldn't burn me and the hot side of it was actually cold and the cold was actually hot. The room was dark. Lack of light, and the one light over the table was out. They did warn us about the tv only having 2 channels and the hot tub being out of service. The swimming pool had peeling paint, you can see it floating around in the water. Honestly, it was the worst hotel I've stayed in. The staff I met, however, were very very nice and made sure we got clean sheets immediately after hear there was pet hair all over them.

  DO NOT STAY HERE. I’d give zero if I could Seems they are on a strict budget because the lady lost her mind over a small plate of powdered eggs. We were in the area for a funeral. Hotel was filthy, almost as filthy as the attitudes of the employees. I travel a lot for work and will make it a point to NEVER stay at a best western again. Shame on all of you who work there.

  Front desk lady was rude. We (grandkids and I) were kicked out of the pool, because "that's the rules". Rooms were VERY clean. Cleaning crew did a great job! Again,check in gal was rude. Also, leaving hotel was a pain. Everything we wanted to go to was left turn but had to go down a block, u turn and go back around.

  No television - they said it was being worked on & 4 days later, still nothing. They don't clean the rooms unless you make an appt. Shower very difficult to work. In dire need of upgrades.

  I stay in the Reno area twice a week for work, and the only hotel I like more is the Atlantis. The staff is some of the friendliest I have seen in any hotel! The free breakfast is better than most hotels; easily in the top three I've seen in Northern Nevada, and certainly the best for this price range. And to top it all off, it's close enough to walk to the Walmart if I need something, (which I have done.) If you're in a utility vehicle or box truck, you can park at the Walmart if the hotel lot gets full. (Plenty of parking for normal cars.)
