  Im a loyal IHG guest, but I have to say was very disappointed this visit. The shower literally looked like a refurbished mop closet. The floor had ground in dirt that made it look filthy. They're were shower shelves busted off and not repaired. The shower doors were stained with soap scum. As I said, im a loyal IHG guest but this visit was a disappointment. I hope IHG has a look at this.

  I have been on a road trip for 4 weeks mostly staying in Holiday Inns. From the minute I walked in the door at this one, it was obvious that this was one of the best and that they were striving for excellence. From the entrance I saw that they had packages lined up for Rewards members with a bottle of water and colored eye masks in clear carry totes. I was greeted with appreciation for being a Rewards member, which hasn’t happened at many others. Most don’t give you bottled water even if you ask. Then I was told there were warm cookies behind me and a wheel I could spin to earn extra rewards points. After we left, we discovered we had left a down vest in the room. When I called Meg the manager answered the phone and put me on hold while she had an inspector go find it. Then she offered to mail it to me since we are not returning to the area any time soon and took my information to do so. We got into a conversation about relatives who live in my area in Georgia and even that we both are from NC! The level of engagement and personal attention at this Holiday Inn is exceptional!

  When I come out here for work I always get a warm welcoming when checking in, Joselyn nice young lady very helpful. Great customer service, rooms always clean love staying here with you guys .

  The hotel is located north of I-80 at Exit 303 (Elko East), providing easy access to the interstate. The hotel is clean and modern with a phenomenal staff and is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The hotel has what you would expect at Holiday Inn Express, indoor swimming pool/hot tub, a fitness room (treadmills, free weights, etc.), and a laundry room with a single washer and dryer. The room was very comfortable, clean, with a good room layout, closet with floor safe, and good size bathroom. There is plenty of free parking around the perimeter of the hotel. There is a free buffet breakfast in the morning, which is essentially the same food items you will find at any of the major chain hotels. However, it is nothing to write home about, but it is a good option if you do not have time to stop somewhere else in the morning. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express brand is an excellent choice, and we will stay here again when we return. Did we mention that the staff were fantastic at the front desk and at the breakfast buffet?
