Rooms where a bit dated, shower had some staining in the grout, rooms had been vacuumed. Service desk was great.

They don't seem to mention anywhere that the 24 hour year round pool and hot tub are not in service and appear to have been drained for quite some time. I was really looking forward to using those so I feel pretty disappointed. Aside from that, everything feels pretty standard which is fine.

We booked a room because we wanted to relax in their pool and spa. Both were under construction and I was not made aware of this before booking. The mattresses on both queen beds sunk to one side or another and the AC sounded like it was about to croak. I do not recommend this Best Western.

We have been staying at Best Western for 14 plus years. We go there because of it's location, but mostly it's for the pool and hot tub. That's where I get to spent time with my grandkids. This time that wasn't the case. We book our rooms months in advance and came a day early to spend time with the kiddos at the pool, before for the Balloon Festival and Bar Crawl. When we checked in we notice no water in the pool/hot tub. The person at the desk, who had just returned from being gone for 9 months, couldn't tell us why it was drained. When I asked if there was another hotel that they were affiliated with in the area that we could may be go to to use that pool, the manager said that Shutters has a pool, but you would have had to booked there to use it. Maybe, we'll do that next time we come into town. Thanks for the information. We later heard it was because they were redoing that area. That's great for the future, but so disappointing for now. They have the information to send out marketing information to us by email about the hotel, so they should be able to let us know about restricted access to one of the features they advertise on their website. We may try Shutters when we come out at the end of the year, We could have a new favorite. Oh, we also found an antianxiety pill on the floor of our room, next to the chair. So, check out the floors before letting your kids and pets wonder.
