  This was a great stay! The staff was super friendly even when I checked in so late at night. The room was very clean. Could use a bit better lighting and the floor in the entry way of 205 is sunk in and uneven but it’s not a big deal. The shower pressure was AMAZING! Probably some of the strongest shower pressure I’ve ever felt. And the breakfast was some of the better hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! It was actually pretty decent and good! Hotel is right off I40 and the parking lot is very well lit with a fair amount of parking and swing space for people with trailers. Several gas stations and fast food places right there as well. Would 100% recommend this hotel and stay here again!

  Did not have a reservation so I was happy to get a room. However, the only available rooms were suites for $209.00 (which incidently $262.74 was charged to my card). The employee that checked me in was very rushed and spoke very low. I had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. I never received anything in writing or a receipt and was given keys and rushed off. My husband asked where the room was and I told him I'd no idea and we'd have to figure it out. We found our room just down from the front desk. Once inside we were quite disappointed to see what the almost 300.00 (Bellagio) a night price tag got us (see pics). The room was in quite disrepair and dirty. The shower was out of body soap, hardly any toilet paper or tissues and one of the light bulbs was burned out (which, when we requested they replace the bulb, THEY BROUGHT US ONE TO PUT IN) The lamp shade had water damage all around it and I truly believe there was black mold behind the wallpaper in the bathroom and the entire suite. The refrigerator didn't work and there was lime calcium build-up on all the faucets. Rust even on the door hinges. Screw was coming out of the door handle to our suite door as well. I can't imagine this has ever gone through any type of inspection. This was just the room. Breakfast: Drink dispenser did not dispense anything but water, sausages were way undercooked, biscuits and gravy tasted like an old shoe (husband got sick) and eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Quite horrible. SEE PHOTOS

  Holiday Inn Express in Tucumacari was a perfect place to stop. Close to plenty of places to eat and get fuel. A great place to stay after a long day of traveling !!

  We were welcomed the minute we stepped into the hotel. Wonderful room! Our room was large and very comfortable. We slept well in the king size bed and the couch was comfortable to sit on. The wifi was good. We would stay here again.

  Everything about this property was great except for the insufferable idiots that took up 4 parking places with their boats and camper trailers even though there was a space provided for them. The staff was very corteous and helpful.
