  I waited over a month for the manage to get back to me but no response. Okay this is why I'm giving this hotel a bad review. First I made a reservation two weeks before the 4th of July weekend in person at the lobby. On the 4th of July as me and my family where on our way to Silver City the hostess call me and tell me that my reservation was changed because they were low on rooms. Okay so the reservation was for a room with two beds and they are telling me that was only for a room with one bed and had more rooms with two bed. So they canceled my reservation was left to find for another hotel. When I got to Silver City I went to the hotel and asked the hostess that if I could speak to the manager, Ashley the person in lobby told me that since it was the 4th of July they could not get in touch with the manager Jose Torres. So I was SOL I had to find another hotel mind you on the 4th of July. I did find another but had to travel back to Deming because all hotels on Silver City where all booked. So after I made reservation on another hotel Ashley call me back and let me that they could give me another room even though she told me she could not get hold of the manager. I told her I would not be able because I had to make reservation in another hotel but to have the manager get in touch with me if possible. So here after a month of me giving them a chance to get back to me and no response or care for the customers I'm leaving this bad review because of what happened in my case and hope to warn other customers they don't care for you and will leave out to dry and figure things out on your own. I would advise don't do business with them.

  I had the same hopes for this Holiday Inn Express as I did for the one in Canon City, Colorado. But, to my surprise, it was quite different! When we arrived, it was pouring rain, and water was trickling into the lobby through a window that wasn’t sealed properly. The front desk lady was super nice and got us checked in quickly. We went to our room, dropped off our bags, and tidied up for dinner. Then, we headed to the elevator to leave. There was a sign that said we could only have 2 to 3 people on the elevator at a time due to overloading it. This is the second picture. This worried me because the weight limit is 2500 pounds, as I noted in my first picture. This is the weight limit from the company that made the elevator. If the elevator is having trouble taking 3 people up or down, the company should be called in, and the elevator should be secured until the issue is fixed. Once we got back to our room, the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. I went back down to the lobby and told the front desk that there was no Wi-Fi. She said, “This happens when it rains,” and then she started to walk away. I asked her to go reset it, she wasn’t too happy but did it. I waited by the guest computer and tried to get online. She said it was done, but no Wi-Fi was working. I explained that she had to cut it off for 20 to 30 seconds. She went back and did this, and it finally worked. The breakfast was great as always. I guess I’m spoiled from the Holiday Inn Express in Canon City, Colorado.

  The company I work for has two standing rooms on the 3rd floor of this hotel. Consistently, these rooms are filled employees like myself. This is the second time I’ve come to this hotel this year and the sheets were clearly not changed. They, once again, smell strongly of the body odor of the person who stayed here previously. The toilet is not properly cleaned and the shower has hair in it. I am fighting hard to have my company stop using this hotel. It’s absolutely unacceptable.
