I have stayed at IHG properties many times, so I never expected a stay to end the way this one did.
I was booked for five nights at this hotel as part of a birthday trip. My stay was made up of three consecutive reservations, so although the reservations were separate in the system, I was supposed to remain in the hotel continuously through Monday. My name was on the reservations, and I told the front desk when I checked in Wednesday evening that I had three reservations and would be staying through Monday.
The next morning, housekeeping came to my door while I was still sleeping, before checkout time. I told them I was sleeping. They came back around 11:30 AM and told me I had to leave because my reservation was over. I explained that I had additional reservations and was supposed to stay through Tuesday.
I went downstairs and spoke with Melody at the front desk. I explained the situation several times, but I kept being told that the additional reservations were not showing in their system. I understand that hotel systems can have problems, but this should have been something the staff could verify and resolve.
Instead, the General Manager, Angela Salazar, became involved and the situation became completely unacceptable. When I spoke with her on the phone, she was full on screaming at me. I told her that I could not have a productive conversation while she was screaming. I was then accused of yelling at housekeeping and slamming things around. I did not yell at housekeeping or slam things around.
The situation continued to escalate, and I was told I had to leave. Police were called, and I was ultimately escorted off the property while trying to explain that I had additional reservations and that there was clearly a problem with the hotel's system.
I have never experienced anything like this at an IHG property. What started as a simple issue with consecutive reservations could have been resolved with a little communication and professionalism. Instead, I was treated as though I had done something wrong and ended up being removed from a hotel where I was supposed to be staying for several more nights.
The way this situation was handled by management was completely unacceptable. This, in my opinion, was an easy solve, but the hotel didn't have the customer service skills to do so.

Do yourself a favor and STAY elsewhere. We are Diamond elite and loyal to this brand, but this is by far the worst IHG we have ever stayed in. The staff is beyond rude and does not honor any perks regarding early or late check in or out. Also, its filthy. So disappointed and will be complaining to corporate.

Our toilet clogged after normal use on the second night. We reported it immediately, but instead of sending maintenance, the front desk gave us plungers and said no plumber was available until morning. After trying ourselves, the toilet was still unusable.
We asked to be moved to a different room, Antero from front desk told us the hotel was fully booked so the only option is to use the lobby restroom for the rest of the night.
We tried multiple times to speak with a manager but were always told one wasn't available. After our stay, Chase Travel told us the hotel manager claimed we were offered another room and declined it 😳🤯
Plumbing issues happen, but the lack of service, poor communication, and conflicting information afterward made this a disappointing experience.
