  Amazing experience with the holiday Inn in Raton! I had a last minute need to complete an interview, and the kind, accommodating manager Raul allowed me to conduct it in the breakfast area. This was a wonderful clean hotel.

  I'd like to start with they did give me a refund. So, thank you. However, if you dont allow cats please update that on your Google listing. It says specifically that cats are allowed, but the hotel is dogs only.

  Front desk person very nice. Rooms a little out dated but comfy for a one night stay. Easy access to the highway I like that.

  Stolen items. We had jewelry stolen from our room. We spoke to the front desk about it and they seem to just blow us off. I have attempted to call them using the number posted on Google which only goes to corporate. Corporate has now asked the hotel manager to call me back twice and I've had no return phone calls. We heard about stolen items from someone else's room there as well. Evidently it seems to be a problem at this property and my guess is that management knows about it since they're not bothering to return my calls. Management has been contacted twice by corporate employees. If you want to reach out to me you have my contact information in the email from corporate. For everyone else I would avoid this property unless you want your stuff stolen.

  This was one of the most disappointing Hilton properties I have stayed at. The first room I was assigned was clearly not properly cleaned. Upon entering, I found pieces of bacon on the floor, hair in the bed, and a red stain on the duvet cover. After reporting these issues, I was moved to a larger suite. Unfortunately, the second room also had cleanliness and maintenance concerns, including hair in the bed, stains on the walls, and several unfinished areas where the walls had not been properly caulked or completed. The only reason I remained at the hotel was because I had been traveling throughout the night, was extremely tired, and was not physically able to drive elsewhere to find alternative accommodations. Additionally, the pool was closed during my stay, and there was no indication of this on the hotel's website prior to booking. Had I known this amenity would be unavailable, I would have factored that into my decision. Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lack of communication regarding amenities made for a very disappointing experience. I do not plan to stay at this property again and would choose another hotel if available in the future.
