- MPM ParkerMay 13, 20261.0Our room was the loudest most uncomfortable room i have ever stayed in. We could not turn off the room fan system. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine on an international flight. The bed was extremely hard. If you like sleeping on a board, this will be the place you like. The breakfast was OK with the exception of someone leaving pancakes in the maker burning them. Not a biggie, but the kitchen staff didn’t remove the burning pancakes for the entirety of our breakfast which was 20 minutes. The fitness room AC was broken. It was like a sauna in the room. I would encourage others to stop in Trinidad or another location. Normally we have had wonderful experiences with IHG hotels until now.

We unfortunately had a horrible experience with the EV charger down the road that was not marked down and the lovely lady at the front desk told us we could just plug in and take our time, we decided to just book a room and rest up until we can get enough charge to get to the next charging station. Rooms are really nice and the area is tucked away that we had no worries about the car being plugged in. Staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. If we ever find ourselves back in raton we will gladly come back to this hotel.

We booked this hotel from our drive 10 hours away because we were excited by the New Mexico decor. Upon walking in, we were disappointed to find they destroyed the cute decor and filled it with lifeless corporate BS. How sad.

- PFPappaJohn FloydApr 4, 20265.0The hotel was old and tired on the surface, but is undergoing renovation. Our bedroom was recently remodeled and redecorated. It was exceptionally spacious, clean, and the heating/air-conditioning unit was efficient and quieter than most. Its location on the I-25 corridor was convenient for our trip. The price was reasonable, even though it was Easter weekend. For an economy, chain Hotel, it was more than OK.
