  The breakfast was subpar, the hot tub was broken, and the morning desk clerk guy spent the entire hour in was in the breakfast bar on a personal phone call in which he had his phone on speaker and up to full volume. He was practically yelling into his phone! It is incredibly rude to do this in public in general to begin with, but then to do this at work while dealing with customers?! What is wrong with people these days? No work ethic and no concern for common courtesy.

  We have been staying at this hotel 2 times a year for the last 9 years, reserving 2 rooms with 4 to 5 day stays per visit and have really enjoyed our previous stays. This last visit was much different. We had trouble with our keys over and over again and one week night around 830 we were unable to get into one of our rooms (I kept the room key in a separate pocket away from my phone or other devices). We went down to get the key sorted out and were talked to by the woman working the front desk like we were stupid. She kept implying that we were the reason the keys no longer worked and she was super disrespectful to both my wife and I. The next morning we got a call from the front desk asking if we had dogs in our room, to which I told the day manager we did and this was also told to the IHG rep when making our reservations months prior. The day front desk rep gave me attitude on the phone saying they didn't have a record of dogs being in the room and implied that we were trying to cheat the system. I walked down to talk to the front desk lady to see if there was a problem and also share our previous nights experience with the night front desk staff. For being in the customer service industry, she could use some training on how to work with guests in tough situations. She was very short with us, was incapable of listening and both the day front desk manager and the night front desk person were super cold to us and ignored us the rest of our stay. We would walk by and nothing would be said to us and people right behind us were welcomed with a friendly greeting upon returning to the hotel. With such bad experiences with front desk staff both day and night, it made us not want to stay the last night in the hotel and made the rest of the stay very uncomfortable. We will not be returning to this Holiday Inn and will be staying at the Wyndham in Los Alamos from here on out.

  By far The worst hotel and staff I have ever encountered I booked a weekend stay and had to cancel due to a family member having a stroke So called the hotel just to be told that they where going to only keep one night of stay and not the complete booking but even though I did not even check in these thieves charged me for the whole weekend

  Rooms were nice and clean, good WiFi. Has a pool/ heated, hot tub and weights/ workout area. Breakfast is good, good coffee 0600-0900 for breakfast hrs. Front desk staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

  I’ve stayed at many many Holiday inn express locations this one might just top off my list of being favorites at the moment. Staring off with the check in experience i sadly cannot remember the name of the worker who took care of me but real polite and straight forward. The rooms felt very clean and comfortable including a nice modern feel. I also love how many IHG hotels or i think all at this point have gone to putting bottles of good smelling dove soaps , which have made me just leave all my travel soaps at home. The pull was definitely nice a little cold and it being almost 30 degrees when i went on this trip in late february was understandable and thank goodness the hot tub was hot and relaxing. Breakfast was pretty good enough for my day to have a great start. 1 Slight thing to keep in mind is the location is kind of on the outside of town so prepare for a 5+ min drive to any attractions or points of interest.
