- CBChris BaumanAug 8, 20263.0I stayed here with my family on night 5 of our 2-week road trip, and sadly, this was the most disappointing Holiday Inn Express we encountered. The lights throughout are low and dim. The finishes (carpet, bedding, towels) are threadbare and lacking. The fitness center was good (dumb bells and cardio) and the pool was good as well. Breakfast, was great. Our room was facing I-40, and it seemed that the window seal was missing, as we heard all of the traffic noise rather clearly. Unless they update, I suggest you stay across the parking lot at the La Quinta. We did that on night 10 of our trip and it was a 5* experience.
