Manuel at the front desk was very rude and would not let elderly grandmother and child stay at the hotel because they had a local ID. Wouldn’t even let me change the name to somebody else who has a different state ID and left them out with no where to sleep. He would not accommodate a simple change of name for an elderly woman and a child for a place to sleep for the night or refund the money that was given for the one night stay. Very rude!!!

So I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We picked here because it was less than 5 minutes from my parents and they had a pool.
The room was really quite nice, well decorated, and had a shower head at least close to my height (Im 6'1). You could tell the bed wasn't the best bed on the market and was kind of broken down around the entire edge, sheets were soft, etc. All in all, nice room that served its purpose.
The breakfast was quite good and the staff was super nice.
Only issue really stemmed from the pool experience-definitely not monitored. The pool itself is pretty standard for a hotel pool. Our last night the kids wanted to swim. Went down and there were 2 families in the pool, at least 10 kids under 7, a playpen with a baby and a case of beer, and zero control. Definitely a madhouse and zero respect for the other folks there.
So issues weren't hotel related, more just general experience.

Review Title: Discriminatory Policy & Unacceptable Treatment of a Paying Guest
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my complete disappointment and frustration with my recent experience.
I booked and fully paid for a room through Expedia at your Best Western location, expecting nothing more than basic hospitality and professionalism. As a single mother with my two young children, my priority that evening was simple — to provide them with a safe place to bathe and get a good night’s sleep while our home is currently under construction.
Instead, upon arrival, we were abruptly turned away.
The reason given? “Locals.”
No policy was clearly explained, no compassion was shown, and no effort was made to provide a reasonable solution. The gentleman at the front desk was dismissive and unhelpful, repeating only that because we were “locals,” nothing could be done. This was not only confusing but incredibly inappropriate given that the room had already been paid for in full.
To make matters worse, we were denied a refund due to “late check-in,” despite the fact that we were physically present and attempting to check in when we were refused service.
Let me be clear — denying a paid guest accommodations based solely on where they live, without transparency or prior notice, is unacceptable. Doing so to a mother with children, without offering any assistance or basic courtesy, is beyond poor customer service — it reflects a serious lack of professionalism and humanity.
I would strongly encourage management to review both this policy and the conduct of their staff. No paying customer should be treated this way.
This experience was not only inconvenient — it was disheartening.
Sincerely, distressed mom

Our stay was one night. Its very noisy because you can hear the traffic outside the window. The room has nice amenities like pool, hot tub with a decent gym. The service when we checked in was ok. Biggest complaint is the weak internet service, it made it to where we had limited TV. The beds are really soft, the pillows are 1/2 pillows, weird, glad i brought my own. There were no towels in my room to shower with.

My wife and I like to stay at BW Plus around the southwest. This is the only one that doesn’t have king size pillows on their king beds. Don’t get the upgraded rooms. The TV is in an awkward spot that doesn’t face the couch or the bed. Sub-par, even for this hotel class.
