  TWO WORDS...BED BUGS! I was getting itchy when I fell asleep after a long day, I got up to use the restroom and saw that I have 5 bumps on my leg and I thought maybe mosquitoes and went back to bed. Woke to again to something pinching my leg again. I flip up my blankets and I see bed bugs crawling away into the sheets. Called front desk and asked if anything could be done and they say there was nothing they could do. They couldn't change my room or offer me refund. Also out of respect someone needs to be hired to speak full English or at least have someone with them that speaks English, the front man was trying so hard to understand me slowly but it was just way too slow and at the same time I was upset about the bugs eating me up.

  We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!The price was excellent! Overall everything was good. Very clean hotel, clean linens, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Good breakfast, other than the eggs were too rubbery and the gravy was a little too watered down.

  Almost every time I come to Albuquerque I stay at the SureStay Midtown where the service has always been consisant. House keeping are thorough, the rooms are clean and comfortable and they love my dogs. The management is warm, inviting, and they remember you. I look forward to my next stay!

  Rooms are okay for the price, although the bathroom is quite small. The soap dispensers need to be replaced because they were dirty, and there was an unpleasant, old smell. The breakfast area is also very small and doesn’t look like it does in the pictures. Other than that, it’s okay for a one-night stay.

  The pictures are very deceiving. The first room we were given was not clean at all, so we had to switch to a second room. Unfortunately, the second room still had someone else’s hair on the bed, which made us question whether it had been properly cleaned either. As well as the door to our second room didnt lock on its own the key card didnt matter it only locked on the inside, so we couldn't leave the room. The bathtubs sound like your going to fall through while showering and it had a whole in the side that was patched. One of the doors leading outside also had broken glass, which was concerning and it doesn't feel safe to go outside alone. Only the rooms have ac the lobby and hallways are hot. The service was not great, and they do not offer refunds, and they charge you 150 till you leave for a hold on your card in case of damages but its a super run down hotel and it can take 5 to 7 days to go back on your card. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and I would never stay here again or with best western.
