Update: As you can see the response from the hotel, about my review is unacceptable, just because they moved me doesn't mean it was okay to not discount my stay in some manner, it was a huge inconvenience, and it separated my son and I by another different floor, I would not stay here again! The evening desk clerk was rude as hell! Ugh... These places that take so much money from us, but can't see an issue being something they should care about, but nope, they didn't care one bit, plus we paid for breakfast which was $15.00 each, this certainly is not a $182 a night room, no wonder they have 3 stars! Original review: which I stand by First things first, not sure if it is every room, but immediately walking into my room I smell skunky, oldish, mildewy, the elevator literally sounded like it was ready to collapse, 4 people max, but that wasn't followed it was packed, sounded like it was going to crash! all of the emergency stairs that were next to the elevators for fire escape were out of order, carpet was dirty in the hallways, customer service that checked me in was great, my son wanted to swim and go down their slide, and of course location, location, location!, but, my air conditioner quit working, it set at 86 degrees, and I could not get it to go lower, the desk clerk says no maintenance or anyone to check it out, I was going to try and stick it out but I couldn't, especially after I had already unpacked, everything was unpacked in the bathroom, etc... I was unpacked for about 4 hours, I tried to call on the room phone which I told was working, nope, not working, called from my cell phone, call kept cutting out, so had to go down to the lobby and get a different room on another floor, my son was next to me on the 4th floor, now we are separated, my son is an adult with autism, I like to stay next to him, I wasn't happy about that, also of course the ice machine on 5th floor where I was moved to was out of order, when I went all the way down to the lobby again, to tell the desk clerk about ice machine broken, she was very rude when I let her know, Customer service was much better with the earlier shift when I checked in around 2:30-ish, Can't remember the guy's name he was super cool that initially checked my son and I in, the girl when I changed rooms wasn't as friendly. Around 6:30 pm, is when I got moved. My son is on the 4th floor, had to ask him for help moving everything to the 5th floor including my dinner, you know it sucks, moving... After you're settled. But I'd say rude desk clerk, ac stopped working, room phone doesn't work, ice machine broken, extra $15.00 for breakfast each person, yeah that's an inconvenience all right! I do not recommend, go down the street to Tru hotel, where I originally was going to stay! By the way the pool was ice freaking cold, too cold, kids running around all over the place, up and down the halls! Drive down the street more, stay at Tru Hilton, free breakfast, free dinner snacks, pool, etc..
