  Stayed for 2 nights. After the first night, during the day, the room next to ours was being used as the daycare room for the workers. Was not able to relax or take a nap. The elevator seems like it is barely functioning. Didn't see any certification or inspection sticker. We were just waiting to get stuck in it. It was not worth staying here.

  Blamed me - the customer - for their lack of monitoring and utter failure to communicate in advance prior to literally my Start and Check-in date that ‘they’ had cancelled me and 7 other apparent guests (also last minute) because they wouldn’t get enough money from their stay. Literally their problem, and for them to resolve with Booking.com or take their own responsibility for - NOT the customer. Then they tried to resell me the same room I rightfully booked, and threatened to throw me out if I did not accept it. Terrible service and people running this hotel, and likely IHG for hiring the staff in the first place. If it’s this bad at this Garner location, they’re probably all terrible. Questionable business practices that BBB should be investigating. Avoid this dump at all costs. There are better Hotels and Motels close by iin Albuquerque that are far better, and would never be so negligent and rude. Disgusting.

  IHG buys older hotels, cleans them up a bit and then runs them as part of their large IHG program. This is an older hotel that had a rough previous life. Rooms are ok, but the staff is great!

  I told the pregnant girl that I needed my room clean because the restroom was nasty since I first got it and then there was a roach. You’ll see the pictures in a minute, so I called the front desk when I got to the room today and the lady with the tattoos try to give me an attitude, but I guess she calmed herself or maybe I misunderstood. I don’t know, but I expected to to come to the room cleaned no room clean and even as I’m leaving today Friday the 25th the restroom is still nasty. Stains are still on the wall.

  Room is great. Its very big and clean. Front desk is hit or miss. One lady was insanely awesome. The guy that followed was not my favorite experience. Could have been the interaction and I read it wrong. But, I dont think that's the case. He was yelling at the person before me. Ill be willing to stay here again for sure. But your experience with the front desk could be very different, depending on who you interact with.
