  A lovely surprise. Increduble, friendly service. Shout out to Deseret at the front desk. She continued to go above and beyond to make sure I was happy and well cared for. I would pick this hotel over all the other airport hotels here for the bed and the service I received. A shining example for the IHG chain.

  It is my understanding that the hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay. The room had an interesting blue color scheme, although it could have been cleaned more thoroughly. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and personable, and the hotel offered plenty of amenities. I’m sure once the renovations are complete, the rooms will be much nicer and more updated.

  Called in from the road to make an emergency overnight reservation. Spoke with the booking agent, reserved the room and was quoted a rate that was even higher than what is advertised online. When I arrived, they asked for almost double what I had been quoted on the phone and then told me tough luck canceling if I wasn't happy, they would not refund anything. The front desk attitude was awful. I did not stay, because I have strong feelings about bait and switch tactics - especially when they know the customer is in a desperate situation. I'm filling a dispute on any charges, and will never book with any IHG property again.

  Lost my D.L. On the airplane to Albuquerque, had my passport overnighted to the hotel. This staff is amazing from maintenance to management, stayed 3 nights and had small talk with all. Left at 5:30am Sunday and was caught by opening staff (before breakfast started) and they made us sack breakfasts togo. Clean and wonderful staff. Will stay there again when I have UNM functions. Close to both UNM and Airport.

  ** Nice hotel, but please be very careful about parking and security ** U-Haul trailer stolen** We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and, if it weren't for what happened this morning, I probably would have left a very positive review. However, I feel it is important to share our experience to warn other travelers. We were staying here during a road trip and parked our U-Haul in the hotel's parking area. This morning, we woke up to the terrible news that our U-Haul had been stolen. I understand that a hotel cannot control everything that happens in the surrounding area, but for people traveling by car—especially those with a U-Haul, trailer, or vehicle containing their belongings—I think it is very important to know that there may be security risks in the parking area and surrounding area. We actually liked the hotel itself, and the staff/facilities were good, which is why it is especially disappointing to have to leave this warning. I simply want other travelers to be aware, take extra precautions, avoid leaving valuables in their vehicles, and, if possible, ask the hotel about parking security before staying here. I hope sharing our experience can help prevent other travelers from going through the same thing.
