⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay – Wonderful Staff and Great Experience! We had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites! We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, but the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in, which was a great start to our stay. A special thanks to Holly at the front desk, who was incredibly sweet, kind, and helpful. She made our check-in quick and smooth, provided all the necessary information, and even suggested the best time to visit White Sands National Park. She also kindly provided sleds for our White Sands visit, which made our kids super excited! They had an amazing time and absolutely loved the experience. Her thoughtful recommendations and exceptional hospitality truly made our trip more memorable. The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway, with Chili’s and Taco Bell nearby for quick meals and Walmart just a short distance away. From the moment you walk through the entrance to the time you enter your room, you get a fresh, welcoming, and comfortable feeling. The entire property is clean, neat, and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spotless, and the beds are comfortable. We also appreciated the extra pillows and towels. The bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and lotion. Overall, the hotel staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, convenient location, and outstanding customer service made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for families visiting White Sands National Park! A big thank-you to Holly and the entire hotel team for making our stay such a pleasant experience. We would happily stay here again!

An excellent property. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was newly refurbished and was clean and functional... the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good (love those cinnamon rolls). And 24/7 coffee is appreciated. Room pricing was pretty good. The room was a bit noisy trying to get to sleep (outside noise isn't hotel's fault, but better windows/soundproofing would've helped.) Would stay here again, if the price is right.

I’d happily recommend this hotel. Very convenient for white sands, free parking, breakfast, bottled water and cookies. Staff mostly very friendly especially the guy working on the front desk. They also lend out sledges for the sand dunes for free which is a nice touch. Fairly good breakfast selection and gym on site too. The only disappointing thing was the pool & hot tub weren’t working during our stay. It is kind of a no frills hotel but this is expected as it’s only a 2 star. And Alamogordo doesn’t have many options I think most hotels around are similar. You can walk to a few food places for dinner if needed. I was worried initially about security but we encountered no issues or dodgy characters for the duration of our stay so I think the surrounding area is perfectly safe, just a little unpolished which is no problem. It’s the perfect spot as a base for white sands national park.

Lovely hotel and a very friendly staff. Everyone we encountered spoke to us with a genuine attitude. Very unusual for this day and age…and a nice surprise!
