  I don’t normally write reviews, but I fear the previous reviews don’t highlight the issues we had and the whole reason why I booked was based off of the reviews. To start, when I entered the hotel room, I immediately noticed the floor was dirty. It looks like it was swept, but hasn’t seen a mop in months. I went to close the curtains, there was a red substance, not a stain, but full on substance on the white curtain… I found a lower region hair in the washcloth and embedded into the top sheet of the bed. Plus the blanket itself had boogers smeared on it (at least I’m hoping those were boogers). So I only used the bottom sheet, which was fine since the ac didn’t get cold enough. I’m a heavy sleeper and I kept waking up to random noises throughout the night. Like the ac’s high pitched buzzing, the elevator going up and down, and random beeping. Then the elevator stopped working… but the stairs weren’t that bad. Just very inconvenient after walking all day. For the positives, the breakfast was pretty good. They had a lot of different options and kept the food fresh the entire time breakfast was running. They are also located right next to a shopping area with a bunch of food options (I would recommend the Rock ‘n’ Joe coffee shop) and literally right next to the train station so you can easily hop on there and get to where you need to. Also, I didn’t have an issue with any train noises so that’s a plus.

  Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Great location with nearby dining and quick access to the train. Everything was clean and well maintained, rooms were nice, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast everyday.

  I highly recommend this hotel. It made a very good impression on me from the start. Everything was well organized, and the hotel was very clean. You can see that they care about the details and the comfort of guests. The style and atmosphere were exactly what I like, so I felt really good during my stay. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others who like clean and well-organized places.

  Check in was easy and breakfast was great, for a free breakfast. However, the entire second floor of the hotel smells like a senior center/urine and the beds were dented from overuse and overly soft.

  I’ve been coming to NJ to visit a doctor and staying at the Westfield Inn for over ten years now. The hotel has always been nice and a great place to stay, but the new management team, led by Mrs. Dorota, is fantastic. They are always very accommodating and provide outstanding customer service. On top of the renovations and clean rooms, the breakfast is always great! I highly recommend staying at the Westfield Inn anytime you’re visiting Westfield, NJ!
