Holiday weekend with No air conditioning, no manager on duty, no maintenance on duty. $455 for a room front desk with unprepared without tools or support. You can tell the property is not managed properly

I am giving this hotel ZERO stars…. The front desk staff was very nice, except the “manager” Isadora Silva. Having a nasty, rude and heartless person like her running your hotel is sure to make you lose a ton of business! From the first day we walked in, our room felt wet, damp, muggy and smelled like a dirty locker room, we asked to be moved to another room, which was not much better and also very tight, not very spacious at all. The beds are listed as queens, but they are actually smaller and are full beds. We moved rooms again and paid extra money for a suite for more space. Second day in, the AC is not working in the room. With it on 65° the room was 78° with heat outside at over 90° our family barely slept, we were so uncomfortable and my 2 girls had to get ready for a dance competition, while sweating!! We asked to get a room with air conditioning, so they give us yet another room. My husband went up to check it first, before moving all of our stuff for the 3rd time…. Bedroom AC won’t turn on… tech comes up and says the AC is not working sorry. So my husband goes back down to the desk and tells them. At this point, he expressed that he was unhappy and frustrated. Not once was he rude, nasty or disrespectful to anyone ( we have witnesses) the woman at the desk was very nice, trying to help him and he then asked for a manager to discuss the issues. Isadora comes out and clearly was annoyed having to come out and help at the front desk. My husband explained all that happened, asking for compensation and a room with working AC. She said she would give him 1/2 off one night, which was unacceptable! Moving all our stuff, plus all our dance stuff and duffels multiple times was not easy! She then proceeds to tell my husband he was rude and she is checking out my family and we are not welcome there anymore. So us and my THREE children now had no where to go!!! Who throws a family out of a hotel because she was annoyed at complaints??? My husband was never nasty, not once, but she certainly was on some power trip! She threatened to call the police on us, which was pathetic and disgraceful when she was the one who was not helpful and NASTY! Beyond unpleasant and unprofessional!!!! I tried speaking to her myself and she was rude and her comments were appalling! She said “sorry our AC doesn’t meet your high standards, stay some where else” High standards!?? Wanting the room below 75° is not high standards… wanting AC in general when paying for a hotel is NOT high standards! I told her the reservation is under my name, we have kids that would be sleeping in our cars and she’s not to check out my room without me there. She did not care at all and said get out by 12 and that she was being “nice” even giving us that time to pack up and go. We have never in our lives been treated so poorly!! We spent HOURS scrambling to find another hotel and lost an entire day of our trip and had confused and upset children. We will never step foot in another holiday inn express again!! Whoever owns this specific hotel really better get some training for Isadora or find a new manager asap!!! Mindblowing you would have someone like that running your hotel!! And for the record, a lot of people were complaining about issues there- being double and tripled charged, smelly and wet, damp rooms, no AC and the pool was not clear (looked very cloudy). Horrible experience!!!

A home away from home. The staff are so welcoming. As I travel for work this place really soothed that anxiousness. They offered service beyond the hotel. Places to see and things to do in the area while providing a five star experience to a stranger. To some you may say it's there job but to me I say it's definitely a part of their life. To the hotel staff... Thank you Lady with the pretty nails and Gerred who was a resident of El Paso. I hope to visit your establishment again

What one can expect from a holiday Inn though I’d say slightly better free breakfast bar than anticipated, comfortable rooms with working temperature control which is sneakily important if you have wet clothes. Pool was not heated and the 24/7 tea and coffee was welcomed. Over all decent stay. Not to much to write home about but also not much to complain about.
