  I do not recommend this hotel. I stayed here on July 24–25, 2026, and booking this hotel was one of the biggest mistakes I made during my trip. We were seven people, so I booked two rooms because the Booking.com listing clearly stated that each room had two full beds. I paid more specifically for that room type. When we arrived at around 4:00 a.m., both rooms had two queen beds, not two full beds as advertised. I immediately spoke with the front desk employee, who was very rude and disrespectful. He clearly told me that the hotel does not have any full beds and that all of their rooms have queen beds. The next morning, I spoke with the hotel manager, and she confirmed the exact same thing—that the hotel only has queen beds. However, after I filed a complaint, the hotel changed its story and claimed that the rooms matched my reservation. I found that very disappointing. I have screenshots of my reservation, photos, and videos showing the rooms I received. If the hotel only offers queen beds, the room descriptions should clearly state that. Guests should not pay extra for a room type that the hotel does not actually provide. My advice to anyone considering this hotel: Before you book, contact the hotel directly and get written confirmation of the exact bed type. Keep that confirmation as proof. Based on my experience, the room information shown online did not match what was actually provided. Poor customer service, inaccurate room descriptions, and an overall disappointing experience. I would not stay here again.

  I was in the NJ area for a couple of days and wanted a suite for the family. Candlewood Suites Secaucus had great reviews and I decided to stay with them. I was greeted by Victoria, the General Manager, and was nothing but super friendly and made the entire check in proceed smooth! The rooms here are very clean, spacious and all items needed for a stay with kids under 5 years of age. Very neat toilets too. The panty has complimentary hot beverage and a whole list of other items that you could buy and munch on. Being an IHG colleague, I always prefer staying with the IHG Family and Candlewood Suites Secaucus was sentient the right choice after 20 hours of travel. Victoria and team are fantastic and will make sure you have a comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality, Victoria, and I will definitely be staying here on my next NJ visit.

  Just about everything was over and above great. The facility is very clean and the staff are super welcoming and friendly In the 2 weeks I stayed I never encountered any problems, whatever. Thanks to Victoria and Nicolle for their great character and friendly service. The store cupboard was nicely stocked, and even had a good choice of healthy options Which sometimes,can be difficult to find, in many hotels. My only gripe, was I was charged $266.56 for 2 overnight parking when the FIFA games were on, which the company i work for see this as gouging, as I was there for business and not the games. So they will now not allow me or my colleagues to use this hotel for any of my future visits for business. It’s a shame, because apart from that the Candlewood was awesome Many thanks.

  I always stay here when I visit New York because I love free parking and they offer so many great amenities as well. The staff is great!! Thank you Victoria you are an EXCEPTIONAL Manager!!
