  Stayed here for one night for a concert. Parking was good, and checking in and out was easy. When we got to our room, we noticed the air conditioning was completely off, and the room was unbelievably hot. Once we turned it down, the room cooled to a comfortable temperature fairly quickly. The soap dispenser near the bathroom sink was low, and it took several pumps before any soap came out. The shower also took a while to regulate to a temperature that wasn’t overly hot. The mini fridge was a decent size, but the curtain pulleys were terrible. You had to pull pretty hard, and with two curtains, it was difficult to tell which pulley controlled which curtain. The longer the air conditioning ran, the room also started to develop a strange, almost toilet-like smell. The stairwell didn’t smell particularly good either. The continental breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. With such a large crowd, items weren’t being replenished in a timely manner, and there was nowhere to sit. We ultimately decided to skip it and go to a local diner instead. This is by no means the worst place you could stay, but it’s pretty mediocre. For one night, it’s doable, especially if you’re in town for an event, but for a longer stay, I’d consider staying somewhere else.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever been to, the floors in the lobby, hallways, rooms were dirty and stained, the bed sheets were not even clean and had secretions on the sheets. I was so grossed out I went on the back deck and sat under the gazebo all night until I could leave very early in the morning to find somewhere else to stay to get some sleep. The shower and bathroom in the room were also not clean. I honestly don’t understand how people are giving this place good reviews. The neighborhood is sketchy, a lot of what appeared to be drug addicts near the hotel and in the area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I only rated the one star because it would not let me post without clicking at-least 1. 0/5 would be my actual rating I can’t say anything about breakfast because I did not stick around to see as I would have ate anything from there. Stay is from Monday night the 3rd on the 3rd floor and it was not under my name to reply back to the owners comment. I believe room 326 but don’t remember exactly as I stayed outside until the next morning.

  Didn’t want to spend $800-$900 for two rooms on cape may, so decided to try another Hotel in pleasantville since it was also near AC. Location is definitely out of way and may feel shady but its not. Hotel was clean and we felt safe, to our surprise we had a beach and ocean view. You can rent kayak which is pretty cool. Room was clean and staff was helpful. Free breakfast was good. Will definitely stay again

  The view was so nice and we loved having the little beach! The sunset was amazing and our 1 bedroom suite had 2 full bathrooms for a great price. That being said there was no door between the bedroom and the living space. The ac was leaky and lots of things are old and outdated. The worst downfall for me was the shower curtain reeked of mildew, which is an easy fix. The included breakfast was nice and I would like to come back here again.
