- KVKS VeridianSep 21, 20262.0Disappointing stay. The hotel looks much better in the first few advertising photos than it does in person. Some cabinetry and carpet appear to have been updated, but much of the property still feels quite old and dated. Breakfast was also below expectations. There was no whole milk, very limited yogurt choices, no pancakes, generic/off-brand cinnamon rolls, and at one point no plates available. The bananas were also poor quality. The room itself did not feel fully renovated. The mattress felt old, and it seemed like only the headboard had been changed rather than the bed being meaningfully updated. The most concerning issue was finding flies in the bathroom. Overall, this property feels like it received only a very basic cosmetic refresh while much of the hotel remains older. The online photos set a much higher expectation than the actual condition of the hotel.

- AMArrow MegginsonSep 16, 20264.0Beautiful property that takes you out of the city. Close to Princeton University. Be prepared to be surrounded by trees and deer walking through the perimeter. I enjoyed the breakfast the 1st day but the 2nd morning they didn’t have it for some reason. I was comped it at the Forrester Cafe in the Crown Plaza but wasn’t as delicious. Most of the carpets were clean and the ambiance was nice. However, there were some places that could use a paint touch up and carpet cleaning like the elevators and public bathrooms. The staff was friendly and my room was clean and to my liking. A 4 start for a Holiday Inn. You won’t hate your stay. I enjoyed it more than the Crown Plaza which it is connected to and you’ll use their large pool and workout room. But the brige connecting them is indoors and a nice light walk.
