  Our 4 night stay started out on a good note: Brianna at reception was friendly, professional and offered us early checkin and free breakfasts for the stay since technically taking the available early check in room was a downgrade from the room we booked. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bedding was cozy; we slept well after a few drinks and an appetizer at the on site restaurant. But the next morning didn’t quite go as planned. We joined about 12 other people in line for the buffet breakfast and waited over 20 minutes to be seated. I was confused by how slowly the line moved once I got a glimpse of the dining area where half the tables were empty. I’m still puzzled how the team of 4 working the room couldn’t manage to quickly clean and clear empty tables nor replenish the now mostly empty buffet dishes. When I asked for flavored tea in lieu of coffee, one of the hosts offered me a tea box which literally contained 6 varieties of Black tea … no mint, no fruit nor any other flavored teas that seem standard at most other hotel breakfasts. In the end, we shared small plates of eggs and one turkey sausage link each since there were so few left. It was simply disappointing. Later in my stay, I reviewed my bill only to find we were charged twice on 2 separate days for the one trip to the on site restaurant. I texted the front desk from within the IHG app. and got no response. After a few hours, I decided to try to resolve it in person on the way out to lunch. Brian, at reception, quickly figured out the issue was something to do with how it was entered by them and assured me one of the charges would be removed immediately. We thanked him and as we walked away, he called to us and offered a voucher for a free appetizer in the restaurant. At least, they were trying to make up for the inconveniences. A day had passed and the over charges were still on my bill and now there were state & local occupancy taxes added to my points stay in addition to the extra restaurant bill. Again, I texted the front desk from the app and got no reply. On the morning of checkout, I stopped at the front desk and spoke with Michaela about the over charges. She looked it up on her screen and said that I should not have been charged accomodation taxes for the points stay and that she would remove the extra charges. At breakfast, we walked in and were immediately seated for made to order breakfasts. The meals were made in a reasonable amount of time and all the food was fresh and well made. As we returned to the room to gather our bags, I checked the app and sure enough Michaela had corrected the incorrect billing and sent me an email with the invoice. As we travel often and are loyal Diamond Elite patrons to the IHG brands, I’m always happy when staff step up and take ownership of a problem and fix it. Thanks, Michaela!

  ## ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Perfect 100-Degree Day Escape! I booked a day pass for the indoor pool at the Crowne Plaza Princeton yesterday for myself and my almost 2-year-old grandson, and it was the absolute best decision. When it is 100 degrees outside, finding a way to beat the heat with a toddler is tough, but this indoor oasis completely nailed it. Here is what made our visit so fantastic: * **Beat the Heat in Comfort:** Skipping the intense July sun and oppressive humidity for a beautifully air-conditioned indoor pool area was a lifesaver. The pool itself was the perfect, comfortable temperature—cool enough to be refreshing but warm enough that my toddler never got chilly. * **Tons of Space to Splash:** The pool area is massive. They have two dedicated lap lanes, leaving the entire rest of the huge pool wide open for free swim. Even with other guests escaping the heat, we had plenty of room to play with his water toys without feeling crowded. * **Spotless & Relaxing:** The pool deck was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with plenty of comfortable loungers and fresh towels. It was a calm, peaceful environment that made for a really relaxing afternoon. * **Seamless Experience:** Checking in with our day pass was a breeze. The hotel staff was welcoming, kind, and incredibly accommodating to a grandparent wrangling a toddler and a swim bag. If you are looking for a reliable, clean, and cool escape from a scorching 100-degree day to tire out a busy toddler, I cannot recommend this place enough. We will absolutely be back!

  We had the pleasure of having our wedding in the Bridgeview/Waterfront room this weekend. Kate Garcia went above and beyond to sure we had an unforgettable experience! We initially desired to have the wedding ceremony outside in front of the lake and fountain. Her and the entire team worked hard to help set everything up and even helped adjust plans and shift the arch indoors when it rained. Staff was warm and welcoming and our Presidential Suite was amazing 👏🏽 My only recommendation would be better signage to the banquet area. Overall 10/10 and I am emensely please and grateful for the amazing services that were provided 🙏🏽

  I went here for a conference so I didn't stay in the rooms. The conference area is HUGE. The only complaint I had was that the conference area is hidden in the back in the middle of nowhere and is difficult to find. I had to ask the staff several times to put on the air conditioning because we were on the 3rd floor and it was a 98 degree day. Did I mention the place is huge and confusing like a maze to walk through so the advertising restaurants inside I had trouble locating. Very pretty walkway with fountain and lake. The hotel food from what I saw looked good. I would definitely try staying here if I was on a conference trip.

  I WAS VERY WRONG!! When I returned to Florida the symptoms got worse and I went to the doctors and the rash was an allergic reaction to my eyedrops used post cataract surgery🤦‍♀️ not the hotel at all!! Very sorry to the crowne plaza. Will definitely stay there my next visit in 2 weeks!!!! Women beware.and men with sensitive skin beware I have been at the hotel for eight nights. And by the 2 nd night I noticed that my face and neck were botchy and had massive itching I put le Mer crème on masively and by night 4 and 5 I have dry patches all over my face and neck and feel like my face and neck are on fire. I went to Blue Mercury in Princeton to find some crème or something and the technician said I am the third woman in the last 2 weeks who have come in with the same story…. He stated that he suspects the hotel is putting SO much bleach in their sheets and pillows while you sleep on the pillow it is massively dehydrating and irritating… Bring your own pillow cases .. I have wrapped my shirts and dresses around the pilllows because I have to stay here 2 more nights. To make mattters worse they tell you they will clean your room every 2nd night which is. Fine by me but after 4 nights of no room service at 7:30 am I ask if they could please clean my room as I had no towels .. didn’t happen Next morning I asked again and pleaded with the front guy and yes it Dianne happened. I will never stay here again because I’m afraid of the impact Of the towels and sheet and the absolute mess I am trying to salve on my face And neck …I’m here to take care of a friend who is very sick with cancer .. I live in Florida always like looking for a reasonable hotel value quality deal .. every 2nd week. I would not Chose this hotel ever again I will pay more … I have travelled as a C suite executive for 30 Years and have stayed in hotels all over the world and never experienced Something as concerning as this
