  Matthew at the front desk is a rock star. Even while dealing with a difficult phone interaction he was able to help me out when I was in a bind. Thank you Matthew for being awesome! Great job!

  Appreciated helpfulness and attention of the reception staff (special thank you to Viola!). Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Value for money.

  Had a really pleasant stay during the labor day weekend. The service is awesome. The place is so pleasant that it makes me want to go back year after year from now on. I just wish they were a little more understanding and courteous when I strayed into their breakfast bar completely unaware that the private event catering was hosted elsewhere on the premises. It was embarrassing enough as such.

  As an IHG rewards member, I was offered a room upgrade that put me in a king suite. The staff were kind, the room was clean, and the grounds are beautiful. The room lacked any toiletries or extras- no sponge or cups in the kitchen, no makeup mirror, Q-tips, etc in the bathroom. The TV was also your basic cable TV. Since I was there for business, it was fine for the night and I always appreciate a clean room, and an upgraded one at that!

  Upon arrival I was assigned a room. The first room I was assigned to had a wet carpet floor. I had taken off my shoes and my socks immediately got wet. I called down to the front office and was changed to a different room. The new room was dry however the refrigerator cabinet door did not close all the way the bathroom was smaller than a closet and the television was very outdated and difficult to maneuver. It did not have any streaming availabilities whatsoever. The most frustrating part of my stay However was check out when I checked in I paid the full amount for my stay which was 3 days 4 nights and a deposit. The receptionist told me that there was an outstanding balance on my account I asked what was it about and he told me that I hadn't paid. I checked my credit card statement and showed him that I had paid in full plus a deposit he told me that that was just an authorization charge and that I would have to pay another amount which was the total of my entire stay. I tried to explain to him that that didn't make any sense and that I had never had to pay twice and wait for the pending amount to drop off. He told me I could not leave until I paid it. I was running late for my flight and I panicked. I had to hold my dad and tell him that I was going to call the police if he did not let me leave. He then backtracked and said he never said I couldn't leave. But when I tried to walk out he followed me out to my car. In addition to this the management reached out to me offering me a partial refund. When I accepted, she charged my card an additional fee over over $150. When I tried to contact her again to resolve the issue, she ignored my emails and avoided my calls. I had to contact my bank in order to reverse the additional fee for over $150. To date, I have paid the original rate and a deposit. I was never credited back the partial credit. I presented them with screenshots of my bank statements via email and even tried to reason with them in person. All I was ever awarded was an apology response on my review. I say "buyer beware". And stay at your own risk. This is nothing like the expected "Crowne Plaza" experience. This location is in shambles with outdated rooms, broken elevators, inoperative hot tub, leaky fridges and unkempt common spaces. This was a BEYOND frustrating experience !
