  Enjoyed my night stay here!! The staffs here are very friendly and polite, especially Pooja and Pinal they were exceptional, and when I asked them for a late check out as an Gold Elite member for IHG, they told me yes Mr Page whenever u feel comfortable after the regular checkout time. Though I checkout 12pm but they where just so nice. Highly recommend!!

  ★★★☆☆ I stayed at Garner Hotel North Bergen from 7–12 June as an IHG Platinum Elite member. There are definitely some positives. The hotel has clearly had money invested into the room renovations, and I thought the room décor, furnishings and bathroom were modern, clean and well presented. The location was also convenient for accessing New York City and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, several issues impacted my stay. One of the main reasons I selected this hotel was because it advertised guest laundry facilities. Upon arrival I was informed there were no guest laundry facilities available, which was extremely disappointing and misleading. The room itself also had a large unsealed gap around the main window. This allowed significant outside noise and strong winds into the room throughout my stay. The issue was so noticeable that I ended up stuffing tissues into the gap to reduce the noise and draft. Breakfast was another letdown. The selection was very basic and the use of disposable paper plates and cutlery felt cheap and wasteful. It certainly wasn’t what I expected from an IHG-branded property. Overall, the renovated rooms are decent and the location is convenient, but inaccurate amenities information, poor room maintenance and a disappointing breakfast experience made this stay average at best. I would consider staying again only if these issues were addressed.

  Our family had a wonderful trip to New York. We were fortunate to book a stay at Garner Hotel North Bergen - NYC Gateway, which was very convenient for transportation. The hotel had plenty of parking spaces, complimentary breakfast, courteous staff, and very clean rooms. It is also very close to Journal Square PATH Station, making it easy and convenient to travel to and from New York City during the day. Overall, it was truly a wonderful vacation for our family.

  We called around 3:00 AM looking for a room after spending time in time square and the staff were incredibly helpful in getting us checked in. We hadn’t planned on staying at a hotel and didn’t have many essentials with us, but they kindly provided toothpaste and toothbrushes. The room was clean and comfortable, and the customer service was truly outstanding. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and made a great way to end the night. We really appreciated their hospitality.
