    For under $100 you have a great location close to a Port Authority Park and Ride to get into the city. The staff was very pleasant, and the place has complimentary breakfast every morning. My only issue was the 1-inch gap under the door to the hallway.

    Listen, I paid sub $100 per night, 40min from NYC; it was a steal. As a place to rest your head for the night it's perfect. That's all I used it for, so I can't speak to the room service or amenities during an extended stay. It's less than a mile to the north bergen park and ride to use the public transport into the city. Room was clean, front desk was kind.

    The location is convenient if you don't want to stay in Manhattan, and parking is a big plus. Just be aware that the parking lot is on a very steep hill, so if you're not comfortable driving or parking on an incline, it might be a little challenging. The rooms were clean and decent, although nothing special. The TVs are older Samsung models, and while Disney+ appears as an option, it doesn't actually work, making the entertainment system feel outdated. The breakfast was disappointing considering the room rate. It could be much better by adding some basic items like honey, pancakes, or a waffle station, especially since many families with kids stay here while visiting NYC. I did appreciate that complimentary coffee and hot water were available 24/7. One major issue was the number of black flies around the breakfast area and even in the lobby. It wasn't pleasant and definitely needs to be addressed. Overall, the hotel could benefit from a renovation with more modern furniture and updated amenities. While the staff was fine and the hotel was clean, the overall atmosphere didn't match what I usually expect from an IHG property. It felt more like a budget independent hotel than one carrying the IHG name.
