  This is a terrible Holiday Inn. My room was horrendous, but I threw tub looked like it had a disease, so I I could hear everything from room next door through the pass through door but the worse part of this experience was the front desk agents, how I say in line waiting on 3 or 4 Agent prioritize checking in a bus full of people who weren't there and who didn't arrive for hours. They made me and everyone in line wait for almost 25 minutes before they attended us. I it was ridiculous

  Spent 3 nights and its been amazing. The hotel manager Benjamin was very helpful in getting me checked in a little bit earlier. Loved the room, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Shuttles run every half hour and also the process to get the shuttle from the airport was a breeze. I really loved my stay. Even the manager Chris at the bar/restaurant was super cool. And also, there is a vibe in the lobby as there is lots of ppl going in and out. Overall loved it.

  Collectively, my partner and I have called the Holiday Inn Newark International Airport thirty times in fewer than ten hours because we left an item in our room. Not once have we spoken to a human, we were either put on hold or hung up on. Do NOT recommend staying here as they have zero customer service. They have BBB rating of F, which indicates our experience is not unique. Pictures show being on hold for thirty minutes and the BBB rating. A complaint was lodged with Holiday Inn Corporate and we will update this review if we receive a response. UPDATE: we contacted Mr.Elie directly at his direct phone number before he “replied” to this review (which does not address our concern and is a stock answer to all of the reviews). We did not receive a response.

  I'm leaving this review primarily to recognize Myasia at the front desk, she was absolutely outstanding. After landing at EWR in the early hours of the morning, I called over 20 hotels across NYC and NJ before she picked up. She answered every question patiently, secured my room for the night, and didn't take advantage of the late hour with inflated pricing — something nearly every other hotel I called was doing. What she didn't know was that it also happened to be my birthday, so her kindness made an already stressful situation genuinely memorable. Soft-spoken, professional, and genuinely helpful: she's the kind of staff member that makes a real difference. She also did not ask me to write this review. But I remembered her name from my stay 3 weeks ago, strictly off her kindness, so I hope this means something. On a separate and urgent note: I accidentally left my iPhone in my room during my stay. I have been unable to reach anyone at the property — housekeeping does not answer their line and my calls have gone unresolved. I am asking that someone from management contact me as soon as possible to help recover my belongings.

  I cannt say enough about this hotel. The staff at the check in counter all of them are extremely friendly and very helpful truly excellent service the mgr Benjamin is very professional and I noticed he helps everyone even his employees truly hands on. The room was very clean the restaurant also very good service I just noticed the coffee and the buffet could’ve been hotter but great quality tho. The small quick service area for a quick snack also excellent service the gentleman that was there I can’t remember his name but I know he’s Mexican cause we spoke about Mexico and their food he’s a great asset to this property truly a great service. I will definitely be back every time I use EWR airport. Thank you
