  ‼️‼️BED BUGS INFESTATION ‼️‼️ DO NOT STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN. This hotel and IHG corporate have handled a bed bug infestation with complete disregard for a guest's health, belongings, and time. During a work assignment, I was moved through THREE rooms at this property. The first room was filthy: hair on the towels, a used tissue left in the box, a dirty bed, and a bathtub that wouldn't drain. The second room had bed bugs. I woke up covered in 12-15 bites and was in serious pain. When I reported it, staff initially refused to move me again, then suddenly "found" a third room. That room ALSO had bed bugs, with visible blood stains on the sheets. When I asked about my belongings, staff dragged their feet before agreeing to launder my clothes. They came back destroyed: holes and tears throughout. I have since had to throw away over 40 pieces of clothing, including work pants, blouses, and jackets, because they were unwearable or unsafe to keep. This was my work wardrobe for a professional assignment. It has now been weeks. I have called IHG corporate at least six times. Every single time, I'm told the hotel's property manager will call me directly. That call has never come, not once. Meanwhile, the hotel told IHG that they already contacted me and offered compensation, which I supposedly refused. That did not happen. No one from this hotel has ever called me or offered me anything. I find it hard to understand how a call is still "pending" if compensation was already offered and declined. Something doesn't add up, and I am done waiting for it to. There is also a public review from May 2026 describing another guest bitten by bed bugs at this same property. This is not a one-time issue. This hotel has known about an infestation and has not fixed it. I have photos: the dirty first room, the bite marks, the second bed bug sighting and blood stains, and dozens of ruined clothing items. I'm sharing all of it here because after weeks of being stonewalled, this is the only response that's gotten any movement.   Horrible experience. As soon as I entered the room I noticed it smelled and felt damp and like wet dog. I started to look around and having an HVAC background I went right to the AC unit. I noticed what looked like dust in the centre vents of the unit, so I wet a rag and wiped it. I called reception to come smell the room and she said it smelled but she wasn’t sure if all the rooms smelled like that. I told her it was unnatural and asked for another room. She said he had no other rooms available. She said she would sent some guy in to spray the room with freshener. He said it smelled and emptied a whole can of freshener in the room and so I decided to take that time to leave for dinner while the spray dissipated. Upon my return the room smelled better but still felt damp in the air. To avoid this being super long here are all my other issues: - the tub didn’t drain and I had to balance on one foot and use my toes on the other foot for it to drain or risk it overflowing the tub - there was mould in the bathroom and deeper into the AC vents than I originally noticed - I woke up to my clothes that were out for the next day being damp - I woke up to my eye being swollen and I had to put an instant Icepack on it - I was up all night blowing my nose and sneezing and didn’t get any sleep - I had brown sauce like splotches on the walls and some clear greasy smudge on the night stand which tells me they are not cleaning the rooms - there was hair wrapped around the pump of the body wash where I have to put my rag to get the soap - there was a curly hair on the toilet seat… 🤢 - in the morning I ask to have to manager call me as I need to get out of the room for the rest of my stay and she doesn’t call back, but what she does do is leave me an email that’s takes no accountability for all the issues I was having and her only suggestion was me checking out as maintenance didn't find anything. Wrong with the room. DO NOT STAY HERE! While they did give me a credit for the night and cancel the rest of my stay, I can not express enough that for $18 more a night you can stay in hotels up the street that will treat you way better and are properly cleaned. Special shout out to the morning receptionist whose name I didn’t get and Anna the evening receptionist on duty on August 12th who are the ONLY reason I will ever even consider this hotel chain again. This location will never see me again and was removed as an option on our company’s travel website.

  July 2026. Ideally 4.2 so will give a 4. Room had decent layout, plenty of space to spread out. Stayed 5 nights. 4 nights then extended (switched room). Had cable for 4 nights but different TV system in the one night room - no cable only local TV. Weird! Breakfast included but same thing daily essentially. Gets old after a couple days. Have laundry but have to pay ($5.75 a load). Coffee available 24/7. Location is decent but hard to get to from southern direction on 73 heading north.
