Every single bathroom I've used in just a couple days since checking in, I have almost fallen because of some sort of slippery residue on the floors. Leaving this review in the hopes no-one gets hurt. Otherwise, it's a beautiful hotel and friendly staff.

However, what really stood out was the staff. I lost my luggage at one point and they went above and beyond helping me to locate it (even though it has nothing to do with the hotel). They also provided me with toiletries for free when we thought my luggage wouldn’t be retrievable. Just unbelievably kind people working at this hotel who go above and beyond for their guests. Thank you so much to the Holiday Inn Manahawkin and their staff!!!

My biggest issues: - rooms are modern, but over-used. every room I have been in has a smell of old/dirty carpet when you enter (even though not visibly dirty). - many of the electricity outlets provided don't work. - Room key cards to enter the room frequently fail/demagnitize. Good aspects: - the service/staff are very good.
- RSRebecca SchieleSep 20, 20263.0Every other hotel staff was unfriended and rude. Just looked at you and turned their faces away. Didn't like that breakfast was not served at the hotel at all. Bed and pillows are very hard and flat. Reception room didn't have private bathrooms so we had to keep leaving to use bathroom next the pool and gym. Cleaning and serving the wedding was very prompt. The ceremony/cocktail hour was very rushed.
