  This is a great hotel for someone who drives a larger vehicle but still needs to get in and out of New York City. It takes about an hour each way to get into Manhattan. There’s plenty of parking and there is a Walmart down the street Home Depot across the street and about 25 places to eat most of them within walking distance. next time I have to work, New York City I am going to stay here plus they were very accommodating with my travel and work schedule.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Linden. The hotel feels very new, fresh, modern, and exceptionally clean. After a long road trip, it was exactly the kind of place we wanted to relax and get a good night’s rest. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices. I especially want to mention the gentleman taking care of the breakfast area. He was so kind and hardworking, constantly cleaning, organizing and making sure everything was fresh and perfectly maintained. You can really see that he takes pride in his work. The location is excellent, with restaurants and shopping within walking distance, which makes the stay very convenient. And a big plus for Tesla/EV owners like me: there are charging stations right on site! I could simply charge my Tesla while enjoying my stay—no need to make another stop just for charging. Beautiful new hotel, excellent cleanliness, good breakfast, convenient location and great service. Very highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again when traveling through New Jersey.

  Had an amazing time. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was great. They have real coffee machines instead of large tumblers, and the staff is so nice and will go above and beyond. I had an issue with the AC in my room, and within 20 minutes they had replaced the whole unit at 9pm at night! Would highly recommend, it’s also one of the cheaper hotels in the area.

  I am really disappointed. I stay here almost every month, and this was the first time I've had such a poor experience. I booked two rooms for the weekend. When we entered one of the rooms, there was no soap in the shower, and the tables were filthy. We ended up cleaning them ourselves. Another odd detail was the "pen" provided in the room—it was only a pen refill with no actual pen, making it useless. The worst part, however, was the barking dog in the room next door. The dog barked and cried throughout the entire night. I knocked on the door, but no one answered. I spoke with the manager, Paul, who genuinely tried to help and even knocked on the door himself. Unfortunately, nothing changed, and the barking continued all night, keeping my mother-in-law and sister-in-law awake. I eventually had to go to a pharmacy to buy them sleeping pills so they could get some rest. As I said, this is the first bad experience I've had here, but it was a very bad one. I'm hopeful this was just an isolated incident and that the hotel returns to the five-star experience I've always enjoyed.
