  I was beyond pleased with my brief one night stay in mid May! I checked-in rather late (around midnight) the evening (or morning) before my departure from Newark Liberty. My United flight was scheduled for 11:15 am the following day. The shuttle service was reliable and driver friendly - pickup at P3. Phone hotel for dispatch if you don't see the van curbside. I strolled in an employee promptly checked me in. I think I looked rather fatigued as it was a scorcher that day, she gave me 2 bottles of water - which was so hospitable. I stayed on 3rd floor, and the room was spacious and cooled to the right temperature. The property provides a complimentary breakfast - but I couldn't manage to wake up in time (service ends at 9am). The shuttle again, wisked me back to EWR after a simple key drop checkout! I did have to wait about 40m for its arrival, but there were comfortably seats and tables to work at. There was a cool "Welcome to Elizabeth" poster sign by entrance - a charming little photo opp and sentiment to incoming guests. I think there was an interactive touch screen available for guests too. Holiday Inn Express and Holiday Inn have long been my primary choice when traveling - for business, family affair, or a solo getaway in the city. This property was so clean, spacious, bright, and well staffed. I will continue to stay with this brand of IHG and recommend this location if departing from or arriving in Newark, NJ.

  Horrendously understaffed. Tried calling with question about a shuttle and it rang for 10 minutes. Finally got an Uber and when I arrived I understood. One person working, she just kept basically turning the ringer off the phone because it is too much work for one person. Water jugs were empty. Got my key, got to room, key didn’t work. Went back downstairs. Long line with the same single worker. People in line took pity on me and let me cut them except for one cranky guy. She rekeyed my room and I went back upstairs and the key still didn’t work. I have to go back to the airport in 2 hours so I am basically going to sleep in the hallway of the hotel for a couple hours. I do not know why the owner of this hotel can’t pay one more worker at these prices. To be clear the worker was fine. It is just too much for one person.

  So easy and convenient to park here, stay the night before a trip, and travel out of EWR the next day.

  我們是台灣人，我們在2026年6月3日透過Agoda 定了6月5日這間飯店，結果當天晚上9:30到了旅館櫃檯確無法入住，原因是因爲Agoda 與這間飯店溝通有問題。真是糟透了👎
