On one day, the breakfast counter served dry eggs, and there was a noticeable stuffy smell throughout the hotel room and lobby. The day we arrived the room and lobby were not cleaned properly as there were bits of food lying inside and outside the room. Positives: the staff seemed friendly and there are shuttles to the airport.

However, the $20 daily parking fee was a big disappointment and left a bad taste at checkout. I'd recommend factoring that extra cost into your budget if you plan on driving here.

I reported it in person, was told it would be fixed, and came back after 10 hours in 90+ degree NYC heat to find it untouched. I messaged through the app too…still no response by day two. The un-air conditioned bathroom somehow smelled like an ashtray and a fungal foot, and the airport shuttle was both painfully slow to arrive and terrifying once it did. Think Knight Bus from Harry Potter, minus the magic. I don’t really blame the front desk staff. They seemed young, overwhelmed, and stuck dealing with a badly maintained hotel and what I imagine are nonstop complaints. There was a bed. There were pillows. Beyond that, I’d stay somewhere else.
