The Crowne Plaza Edison welcomes our guests to relax in our newly renovated spacious guestrooms and suites. All our nonsmoking rooms come with free amenities such as high-speed wireless Internet access, ample parking, 24-hour business center. Our hotel is conveniently located in the heart of NJ on Lincoln Highway ( Route 27 ) and just minutes from the NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and I-287. We are in close proximity to many local attractions as well as the NJ Convention and Exposition Center, JFK Hospital, Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and Rutgers University. Some of these attractions include New Brunswick State Theater, Jersey Shore Beaches and PNC Bank Art Center. - KQKevin QiMay 13, 20265.0Best hotel in the area. Period. How many hotels around here have double insulated walls AND doors. Yes, I like to keep the TV and lights on while I sleep. I was once kidnapped on Norwegian Breakaway in 2015, so to me, my sense of safety is vital and this place, the location, the over encompassing ambience has more than exceeded my expectations. The hotel is well kept, the staff are very professional, and the rooms are very clean. I only wished I didn’t have to go downstairs to get my food. P.s. please visit a hotel in China. You’ll see what I mean. Why are there no robot deliveries yet. Seriously, watch this TV show. It’s so good.

I’ve stayed at several IHG properties over the years, and it’s typically my preferred hotel brand, which made this experience especially disappointing. On Saturday morning, we found a roach on the nightstand in our room. We immediately reported it to the front desk. To their credit, the attendant was kind and responsive. She moved us to a new room and provided breakfast vouchers. We were also told that a manager would follow up with us on Monday. However, we have not received any follow-up. Due to our schedule, we didn’t have time to relocate hotels, but even after switching rooms, the situation made the remainder of our stay uncomfortable. Where there is one roach, there is usually more, and it’s hard to feel at ease after an experience like that. Front desk service was appreciated, but cleanliness, quality control, and lack of follow-through from management are major concerns. This stay fell well below expectations for the brand.
