  I been coming here in a weekly bases for the las 3 months and has become a must because the rooms are inpecable the location is perfect for me easy access to turnpike and garden state Parkway, top of a line service, since I walk in they make me feel welcom at front desk, Jessica in the dinner, Jose in the breakfast area, Denicia at front desk, and Julio in maintenance, I hope I'll keep coming to Jersey to stay at the crown plaza.

  Horrible customer service. Had to stay at the lobby for couple of minutes i was waiting on my uber and was kicked out. I left the building Had to wait outside for the uber and still was treated poorly. No decency or empathy. Would rate 0 of i could.

  Upon check-in, we were required to sign a strict no-smoking policy, so we expected the room to be fresh and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a strong, unpleasant odor that smelled like lingering cigarette smoke mixed with heavy cleaning chemicals, making for a poor first impression. The bathroom was also disappointing. The shower had visible mold, which is unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as newly renovated. Speaking of the renovations, they appear to be little more than cosmetic. Rather than looking updated, the room felt like a quick “landlord special” with inexpensive finishes and minimal attention to detail. Another surprise was that the television was not even a smart TV, something that has become a basic expectation at hotels in this price range. Overall, we paid far more for this hotel than the experience justified. Between the unpleasant odor, cleanliness issues, and the underwhelming quality of the room, our first impression was extremely disappointing. For the premium price charged, we expected a clean, modern, and comfortable stay, but this hotel fell well short of those expectations.

  Stayed here for a business trip and ended up being disappointed. After driving for 4 hours i checked in late around 8PM, I attempted ordering room service at 9PM so i didn't have to go back out but that was a big fail. I called room service at 9:15PM only for the phone to ring 20 times before a Spanish sounding lady answered and said "room service closed". Mid sentence in me asking why room service is "closed" when the in room menu clearly states room service is until 10PM (also states 10PM on Google), I didn't even finish saying it before the lady just hung up the phone on me. I attempted calling right back to ask if "room service closed" meant nobody would bring it up to my room at this time or i had until 10PM (9:15PM at this point) to at least walk down to get it myself but the lady refused to answer the phone again. I Walked across the street to get food only to realize the next morning when i went to eat my leftovers the room DOES NOT have a microwave. Room also DOES NOT have a smart TV you can cast to from streaming apps off your phone. For the price per night and the fact that this hotel is listed as "4 Stars" on Google (my selling point choosing this hotel over other nearby hotels) i will not stay here again the next time i have a business trip in Edison. On a positive note the younger black lady at the check-in desk was super polite, that was the only positive i can say for this hotel.

  I often stay at this Crowne Plaza by IHG for business purposes, so I’m familiar with this property, which explains why I didn’t make an advance reservation this time. I drove for around 15 hours and arrived at the hotel at roughly 12 PM hoping to book a room directly at the front desk, yet the entire interaction turned out to be an extremely unpleasant experience. To start with, the front desk staff was reluctant to quote us clear room rates. She initially claimed standard rooms were fully booked and only suites were available. However, when I checked availability myself afterwards, I found standard rooms were actually still in stock. And the rate she gave was incorrect and way higher. Given how disappointing this service was, I will no longer recommend this hotel to any of my clients or colleagues as I used to. I cannot risk exposing them to the same terrible guest experience I had today.
