  Absolutely awful experience. This place is false advertising at its finest, and honestly, it’s despicable. We booked a King Suite specifically because it advertised with a JET TUB, and the website also advertised a hot tub. Neither exists. We arrived around 8:30 PM to find the pool closed for maintenance, then discovered multiple disgusting stains on our comforter, one appearing to be bodily fluid. We reported it and were told they haven’t had a hot tub or ANY jet tubs “for a long time” yet somehow their website still advertises them. When we asked to be moved to the room we actually booked, we were told they have no jet tubs at all. We then agreed to a two queen room and were told it was an “upgrade” at no additional charge—only to find out it was a standard room and the employee had no idea what he was talking about. After all of this, we left. We stayed at the North Conway Grand Hotel instead, which was cheaper, clean, welcoming, and had TWO hot tubs and a bathtub in the room. We almost never complain or change hotels, especially for a one night stay, but this experience was THAT bad. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else. This place is something out of a nightmare to say the least. 0 out of 10 wouldn’t not recommend.

  I don’t usually write reviews but I had to. This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The new ownership of this hotel has made it a truly beautiful place. My favorite part was the gentleman in the breakfast area this morning, showing me the ropes and all of the wonderful options. We also had a great talk about tattoos and he alone made me want to book here again. Thank you for the beautiful start to our vacation, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

  Only hot water comes out of bathroom faucet. Toilets are very low. They are still renovating some parts, but we stayed in a completed room. Wardrobe door had huge chunks missing from the bottom that I assume broke off during assembly. Linen and towels very starchy. Beds were hard.

  Let me say I am not one to write bad reviews or make a big deal out of things but I cant help but to with this situation. We stayed here a couple weeks ago with two small children. While checking in one of the people behind the desk looked like they were taking photos of our family with their personal phone. This was very unsettling, especially with all the human trafficking we hear about in the news. My husband did go down to talk with them after I mentioned it to him when we got to the room. They assured that they weren't but the way someone holds a phone while taking a couple pictures is pretty distinct (holding it straight up, bring the phone down, look at it quick, bring it back up and back down again to look). My mother instincts said something wasn't right. Maybe the owners should have their employees not have their personal phones at the front desk while checking in guest to prevent this type of situation again. We won't be staying here again or recommending it. Besides that, the beds were very uncomfortable. Definitely tried to cut as many corners while fixing everything from the fire last year. I can say the breakfast was decent and the man attending to it was very kind.
