  - The location was good with Clark's bears right down the street as well as the George flume. - Nice big outdoor pool surrounded by a cute little pond. - Has indoor pool and hot tub ( gets packed quick ) - Has an arcade which was cool. - Staff was nice. - Beds were uncomfortable. We were supposed to get 2 queen beds but got 2 fulls. - Rooms could use a little updating with new carpets. - The restaurant wasn't very good. Over priced and food wasn't great. - Breakfast on site which is nice but was very basic. Eggs weren't very good. Overall a decent place to stay. Would consider staying again.

  I’ve been going to the Woodwards since I was a child. I went back last year and enjoyed my stay. This year I wanted to bring my kids again. This time I got a suite for $300 for 1 night. It was my neices 16th birthday so I figured I’d splurge a little. The pictures showed a nice room with another attached bedroom area also implying it had a fire place. Upon getting to the hotel early, the lady at check in was friendly and accommodating as I had a 3 year old with me and we were able to get in early. However when I got in the room the room with the king bed had a funky odor like a dirty diaper, I checked around the room but couldn’t find anything. I figured maybe it was due to them washing the floor. The fire place was an electric fire place made of plywood (not really what I was expecting) but again it is what it is. When we got back from loon mountain and swimming everyone wanted to shower however the glass shower doors didn’t stay closed so we had to shove towels between the glass to keep it from sliding open. Then morning came and the refrigerator leaked all over the floor and soaked the bag we had put on the side of the tv stand with our clothes.. again for $300 a night I found this to be really upsetting. I told the staff upon the return of the key of the circumstances in the room, they did not offer any money off my stay and just said I’m so sorry that happened. The breakfast wasn’t what it was last year either. Probably wouldn’t stay there again which is sad because it was where my family always went growing up. If you get a room I wouldn’t recommend a suite.

  First time there august 8th to the 11th very nice stay. Staff was professional. Place was very clean and hard working staff. Breakfast was great with many options. Highly recommend for couples and families!

  Terrible Terrible experience here. Got 2 rooms one for me and wife one for my daughter and her friend. First night my daughter's room was covered in bugs. We went to office at 8PM and the did move them to another room. Next day we were told that my daughter and friend needed needed to go to another room because they already booked that room already and party was coming that day. So with who issue first night with room with bugs and being inconvenienced again to move daughter to another room we nicely asked them to comp us a little money back for our troubles cause of their incompetence and staff at desk was rude and said no. So we left paid for 2 rooms for 1st night and are gonns refund rest of our 840 dollars in 5 to 10 business days. So had to make last minute reservations in N. Conway over an hour away. So much for my relaxing vacation. Stay away from this dump!

  If you are looking to sleep, relax, find peace and quiet, or recover from a hike, look elsewhere. We stayed here for a weekend hiking trip and specifically requested a quiet room for two adults. Instead, we were assigned a first-floor room directly adjacent to the outdoor pool. A few main issues to be aware of: Relentless Noise: Children were screaming in the pool area and across the property ALL DAY LONG. The walls and floorboards are so paper-thin that the guests overhead woke us up multiple times throughout the night just by walking /running around. Hiker-Unfriendly Schedule: The lobby and breakfast don't open until 7:00 AM, which is far too late if you need to hit the trail. Lack of Maintenance: the bathroom exhaust fan is literally falling / hanging three inches out of the ceiling. This property is not built for rest or relaxation. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.
