This is definitely not just another Holiday Express Inn. It has all things you need when you are on the road, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, safer, iron, hair dryer, and more. The staff are very helpful and are pleasant to talk to. The breakfast is surprisingly nice. There are phones and towels in the pool area. The room is clean. Beds are comfy.
You have to come and experience yourself.
Highly recommend.

The night front desk was great.
The morning front desk was not very helpful.
They had a fix it guy in the hotel using something that smelled like really strong air plNe glue that gave me a asthma attack and other guest were also bothered by it.
The guy was in a room that was not ventilated and every now and then he would prop the door open causing the smell to be even stronger. The adhesive he was using was highly flammable and toxic and when my friend said something to him he said it did not bother him. But he did not care about the guest. And the front desk person on the morning shift just said it wasn't job. I think the manager should have done something about the fix it man. Th sq lobby smelled bad and I could not eat my breakfast in the dining area. Unfortunately my room was only 2 door down from the fix it man and the glue.
I'm sre the place is probably nice when the fix it guy is not there.

We had a very pleasant stay and overall the experience was excellent. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and you could immediately notice the attention to detail throughout the entire property. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. Housekeeping also did a great job every day.
One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast. It was extremely extensive with a large variety of fresh and high-quality options. There was something for almost every taste, and it felt much more generous than what you usually get in many hotels. The breakfast area itself was also very clean and well organized.
The only small point of criticism is that there were no milk alternatives available, such as oat milk or almond milk. In today’s time, this would be an important addition for lactose intolerant guests or people with dietary restrictions. Adding a few plant-based options would make the breakfast experience feel more inclusive. (The gym could also need a little upgrade)
What truly made this stay special, however, was the hospitality and openness of the hotelier Alessandro. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making guests feel comfortable. He went out of his way to assist us and made our stay much more enjoyable. His attitude and personal approach really set this hotel apart from others and left a lasting positive impression.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

I traveled to Lincoln with my two best friends: my boyfriend and my support animal. Our plan was to enjoy a few days hiking Franconia Notch, coupled with a relaxing stay at a nearby hotel. Upon arrival, into town, we contacted the Holiday Inn Express and was pleased to discover vacancies available. Our room, located close to the pool, was pleasantly quiet and oh so clean. The bed was super comfy and the modern blinds kept the room nice and dark in the early am..The hot-tub was by far the warmest that I've experienced.
If the aforementioned wasn't enough positive feedback, then you haven't had the pleasure meeting the front desk associate. He was over the top helpful, kind, and exuded a high level of professionalism. He had fantastic hiking suggestions and offered other advice! He was patient and loved his position as Front Desk Reservations Assistant. I would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express...I miss you already!! Kerry

For a modest, effiency style hotel Holiday Inn Express Lincoln East competes with all of the luxury brands in the service department. These hardworking folks go way out of their way to make you feel like their very special guests.
First, the hotel itself. It has everything you need for comfort and is extremely clean. The guest rooms, bathrooms, pool, lobby area - all immaculate. It’s located right off of 93 so convenient to all attractions in the area. The rooms are comfortable, with mattresses on the firmer side, and again, extremely clean. The pool was great, although could be a tad warmer. We brought floats (I am disabled and need it in the pool) and spent quite a bit of time just floating.
Now, onto the five star category - the staff. Everyone went out of their way to say hello, have a good day, or have a small chat. Super friendly. The shining star though was Alex, the front desk ray of sunshine. He was so friendly and fun, always with a smile and made you feel like you were long lost family in for a weekend visit. Some people work in hospitality solely for the paycheck but others are truly devoted to service, and that’s Alex. He would shine in any true 5 star luxury environment, so how lucky were we to enjoy that tucked away in Lincoln NH. The Holiday Inn empire is truly blessed to have such dedicated and friendly staff - they make it feel less like a corporation and more like a family.
