Food was terrible for an event, event should have been served in restaurant but instead we were in basement, crappy atmosphere for a banquet of 25pp, staff friendly but obviously understaffed. It needs a chef and some promotions to get this one back to a good venue. Could be a really fabulous bar and eatery.

Okay room but nothing special. Had a problem with the A/C which was unresolved during my two night stay.

I stayed two nights recently at the hotel. As I initially called to book the room I felt I was being rushed off the phone and pushed off to a website to book. That should have been a sign
I got to the hotel and I noticed the elevator was broken. No big deal although they did put me on the second floor. I went to bed that night and set the heat at 72. I woke up in the middle of the night with the heat at 64°. It apparently wasn’t working. I left in the morning and there was no one at the front desk so I called and spoke with someone at the desk about the heat not working in my room. They would send a maintenance man to the room to check it. I got back that night after 8 PM and I got into my room and again the heat Was not working. I went down to the desk. They offered me a space heater or a different room but at that point it was just too late.
What I found is that doesn’t seem that the ownership or management take a lot of pride in the hotel. I had stayed here a few years before as it was convenient with the restaurant. This time I can say that it appears that there’s been no work done on the rooms. And other reviews it’s mentioned the tile in the shower. It is disgusting and it would likely only take a short cleaning to get it clean and maintain it. In addition, the ironing board is pretty much useless.
I don’t think I’ll stay here again. What was crazy is there was a charge for the resort fee on my bill. Not sure if it was 20 or $40 but I got it for both nights. I don’t know how they determine this a resort with a basement workout room that’s smaller than mine at home, no heat when you need it, elevated that doesn’t work, in a room that definitely could be updated. The continental breakfast is much better at a Hampton in and that’s saying a lot. I think it would not take much to spruce up the rooms, but I honestly have to say that it looks like they continue to rent rooms without putting much work into the place.
