- EOEmmy OrtizJul 5, 20262.0We checked in for the Fourth of July weekend after driving 8 hours. Went to take a shower and there was no hot water. We were not informed of this upon checking in so it’s anyone’s guess how long it had been a problem prior to arrival. We check out tomorrow after three nights total and have never had hot water. “They are working on it” is the answer we kept getting. Also, we never had housekeeping- not even for trash pickup or new towels. I asked front desk about that- apparently you have to ask for housekeeping. I wish I had been told about both the lack of hot water and the need to request a service that is standard at most hotels upon check in. No solutions were offered. VERY frustrating after days of sunscreen, bug spray, sweating and driving. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were awesome and our room was clean. I wanted to love this place so much more than I did in the end.
