  We booked a room and were greeted by Isaac, whom did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome. After being in our room for a short time, a small cockroach ran across part of the desk and between the wall and counter/back of desk. We also found the butt end of a cockroach nymph. Isaac was phenomenal in how he handled it and helped us secure a room with a different hotel. His manager had him tell us it wasn't a cockroach as they are not native here. There are most definitely cockroaches here, native or not. Im sure she was trying to do some damage control. The passive response from that manager is what prompted me to post this. We left because ewww, and because I didn't want them getting into our bags and then taking them home with us. I dont believe it is a big infestation, but they do tend to hide so i cant say. I would have given 5 stars for service based on Isaac alone but the managers dismissive response took it down, and would have been a zero if only based on the managers response. The two photos are the nymphs abdomen and the last one is from google for reference only. We did not find a whole dead one, just the abdomen and also saw the live one run across the desk.

  The staff here is very kind and polite. They respond quickly to every request and are proactive in ensuring every need is met. The rooms are well equipped and quiet. We come to Williston a couple of times each year. We have tried other hotels and Airbnbs but Candlewood has met our needs better than any other option. We highly recommend this hotel.

  The house keppers were great made sure i had everything i needed tiani was very generous
