  Came here for wedding, no TVs worked for our stay. When housekeeping was requested it’s 50/50 chance they will actually come. Requested more towels, never received. Food was ok. We mostly are out at local restaurants which are very good . Pool has a restaurant that wasn’t open any day we were there. Guest laundry services may or may not work. Says $3.50 per load either wash or dry. I was charged $5 every time. If looking for a resort and nice amenities, and service I would choose elsewhere. I’m not a complainer but for the amount of money this resort costs , bringing wedding party and family here. I’m not impressed on how they handled any of our concerns and what they said they’d do for wedding and didn’t.

  Why 3 stars on the rooms you might ask? When I was doing a #2 on the toilet I could see brown shitstains on the lower left door jamb. There's only 2 elevators in this hotel and one of them was broken down. That's why I think this place sucks. That was a very bad design design to only put 2 elevators in this hotel. They could have put 8 floors in the place and installed 4 elevators on the same plot of land. I thought that the employees were great. Whoever is managing the day to day operations seems to do a fine job. Why the 1 broken elevator? The place next door is more than 8 floors so I know that the local government would have approved 8 floors. I forgot to say that the tap water tasted way too sandy compared to my water system that is hooked up to lower Lale St. Clair. I couldn't make coffee in the room with that sandy background taste. I'm sorry! That is what I experienced in 418. Post edit: It's really hard to hook up an HDMI cable to the TV. On the side of building that I was on I couldn't get any t-mobile signal. The wifi worked fine in the room, but I kept losing the signal by the pool.

  If you are a 'valued' rewards member with IHG and you take the time to purchase points throughout the year, you will be very disappointed in this location's policy to NOT make premium oceanfront rooms available to 'valued' members paying with points... This location rewards the best rooms to cash/credit paying reservations and NOT loyal rewards members... This location is a great stay, but profits are maximized here. So, save your 'valued' reward points account balance for another loyal based IHG location and expect to spend more money here!

  Overall, our stay was good. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but the location is excellent and we were generally happy with our stay. Unfortunately, our experience with the two front desk employees pictured was disappointing. When we asked for assistance, the immediate response was simply “no,” without checking our reservation, room information, or even taking a moment to see whether anything could be done. After we continued asking and requested to speak with a manager, the issue was eventually resolved. Based on our experience, if you receive an immediate “no” at the front desk, I would recommend politely asking them to double-check or requesting to speak with a manager. Aside from this interaction, we had a good stay overall. The hotel is older, but the location is very convenient and that was a big positive for us.

  Then rooms are nice, clean and modern. If they offered kitchenettes we'd return every year. The rooms also have nice views. The pool and other ammenties are up to date and taken care of. Only complaint was the quality of the food at breakfast. It was expensive, and the worst, tasteless crap Ive ever had. Eggs tasted like nothing, orange juice was rancid and everything else looked like it came from IHOP. While aesthetically pleasing, it left me wanting more. The beach area outside is very short. I barely had room to set up my spot where the waves wouldnt come in and is crowded even in off peak times
