  Our guides (Cheyenne and Benn, hey guys!) were fun and informative, both about the zipline and local information, even about plants and animals. They did a good job of inspecting gear and harnesses between each line. And they handled anxious people well. As for the zipline itself, be ready for a bit of a jerk when you hit the brakes at the end of each line, especially those first two. But you quickly get used to it.

  We came in not quite understanding that we were going to have a full day experience. That was our misunderstanding. Our guides Cheyenne and Jada were absolutely wonderful and funny. We were amazed at their strength. We enjoyed the Zip lining and repelling but were ready to be done about when we had a break which I think was zip line 6 or 7. For those wanting to do this please make sure you are able to withstand 4-5 hours of continual activity. As for the cost, you get your money’s worth for sure and please tip those hard working guides! If I could make a suggestion it would be to provide a full experience and a 1/2 experience for those people who struggle with the full activity.

  We had an incredible time on our zipline adventure at the Gorge! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the entire experience was exciting from start to finish. A huge shout-out to our guides, Jada and Hailey. They were fantastic! They made us feel safe and comfortable while keeping the experience fun, energetic, and memorable. Their personalities and professionalism really made the adventure even better. If you’re looking for a fun adventure with amazing scenery and a great team, we highly recommend the zipline at the Gorge. We would definitely do it again!

  While looking for a little adventure for an afternoon we saw a billboard for “The Gorge”. We immediately looked it up and it looked like something that would be exciting and a little challenging. It delivered in every way. Our guides, Cheyenne and Austin were exceptional!! They were entertaining, informative and great guides that proved their confidence throughout the course. These guides had been through some heavy rains with a previous group that must have made things extra challenging for them, but they seem to really enjoy what they do! They showed great patience and care with our group knowing that this was a new experience for most of us and made it very enjoyable! What a fantastic, thrilling afternoon!!

  I've brought family and friends to The Gorge several times over the years, and it's still the first thing I recommend when people visit. As a Saluda neighbor, I've watched this business stay strong for years, and it's clear why. The lines are fast and long, the rappels and sky bridge add real variety, and the views across the Green River Gorge and the surrounding mountains are stunning. It's the kind of experience that shows visitors why we love living here. The guides are what make it. Every time, they've been professional, knowledgeable, and clearly serious about safety, while keeping the day relaxed and fun. That balance matters when you're bringing people who range from thrill-seekers to first-timers with nervous stomachs. Everyone comes off the mountain grinning. The whole experience is well organized and worth the price. If you have guests coming into town, or you just want an unforgettable day outdoors, book it. I'm glad to have The Gorge as a neighbor and look forward to my next trip.
