Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is clean and well made. Location is convenient.
The carpet in the rooms feel wet all the time. We started to wear shoes after seeing that our feet get dirty just by walking around the room. When you shower the water runs black from the dirt on the soles of your feet (I wasn't barefoot anywhere else).

Staff at every shift were pleasant and helpful. They have the automatic grind coffee machines which are great. Overall appearance and cleanliness was very good.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience, especially considering we stayed in an accessibility room.
The room was far from what I would consider accessible. The doors were extremely heavy, to the point that the person using the wheelchair could not open them at all. The bathroom door was so difficult to open and close that it required two people to operate it. The shower bench was also a major concern. When weight was placed on it, it pulled away from the wall, which is obviously not something you want to happen to someone who is relying on it for support. It should at the minimum support 300 lbs, but it couldn't even support 150 lbs.
The beds were not secured to the wall, which made transferring from a wheelchair to the bed more difficult and potentially unsafe. For a room advertised as accessible, I expected these things to have been properly addressed.
There were also several cleanliness issues throughout the stay. We found old food, earrings, dirt, and other debris in the basic walking path of the room and in common areas. The towels, sheets, and pillowcases also had noticeable stains. Figured a room with queen sized beds would come with more than 2-towels. But only 2-were provided. Looking further into the room, I'm guessing deep cleans do not occur as looking under the beds, up against the walls reveled even more stuff to include forgotten clothing.
The water pressure was also very low, which just added to the list of issues from this place as tiles also fell from the lower portion of the wall onto the floor. We stayed on the 3rd floor, I can only imagine what it is like on the 4th floor.
The positives are that the location is convenient and the breakfast was average but at least well stocked.
Overall, I expected much more from a Holiday Inn Express, particularly when booking an accessibility room. The accessibility issues are my biggest concern because these aren't just minor inconveniences—they can create legitimate safety problems for someone who actually needs the accommodations. I would recommend that if you are an accessible user, you'd look elsewhere.

I booked through Expedia, which is a service Hilton contracts with to fill unused rooms. Imagine my surprise when I was told there's a mandatory $65 pet fee that I was charged, as apparently it's my fault for not booking through the hotel's website. Terrible service & no consideration of guests.

Rooms were not clean, bathroom had hair on the floor and in the shower, bed had a bug on the comforter, was out of body wash, floor/carpet was sticky and dirty. The power went out during our stay and we lost all of our fridge contents and water was leaking from the fridge. Location was a bit sketch. TV's were out most of our stay. AC was not working at full potential.
